Chapter 68: Best work

Song Yu remembered Qi Ling Hu came on the Saturday morning, with tens or hundreds of men in black. Surrounding the whole of Song Manor, he did not bother about anything and just barged into the manor.

Song Yu was still in her study room reading a book, when the maid told her to come down as old master Qi was here. She went down, the first thing she saw after she went down was Qi Ling Hu seating intimidatingly on the black leather sofa, with Song Yao, Song Lie seating next to him and the Wan's mother and daughter pair standing.

"Xiao Yue, come sit here." Qi Ling Hu who saw Song Yu, called her to sit next to him.

Song Yu nodded and went forward to sit down next to him, making the both mother and daughter pair seething in anger. Wan Hua had always wanted and hoped of Qi Ling Hu to take Wan Qi under his wing, but the man had never even looked once at her daughter.

"Old Qi, what brings you here today?" Song Yao asked, puzzled to see such a grand entrance.

"I came here to take Xiao Yue with me, she is wasting her time living here." Qi Ling Hu bluntly said, not caring whether Song Yao would be angry or not.

Song Yu remained silent, not showing any emotions. Song Lie immediately stood up after hearing what Qi Ling Hu said, "No, you cannot take her away!" He roared.

"Thud" Song Yao used his walking stick and hit the floor, "Sit down!" he shouted at Song Lie, making the man sit down obediently.

Song Yu smirked seeing the scene in front of her, "Old Qi, you cannot take Xiao Yue away. She is the only heiress of Song Corp. She needs to stay in the company and help out, she cannot leave. Why not take Wan Qi instead?" Song Yao suggested.

He had suggested to be Wan Qi as he knew she would be able to be under his control, even after going with Qi Ling Hu. But he knew Song Yu would not, he knew he could not control her. Sending her to Qi Ling Hu would become a threat to him in the future. Hence, he wanted to let Wan Qi go with Qi Ling Hu instead.

Qi Ling Hu turned and looked at Wan Qi who was standing, seeing him looking at Wan Qi. Song ao quickly said, "This is Song Lie and Wan Hua's daughter, she is also your granddaughter. Xiao Qi is a smart and intelligent girl, just like Xiao Yue."

Qi Ling Hu scoffed hearing what Song Yao said, he turned his gazed to Song Yu and asked. "Xiao Yue, tell grandfather what you think?"

Song Yu looked at Wan Qi and said, "I don't have a sister, I don't like the likes of her too." she deadpanned, not giving any face to Wan Qi.

"Xiao Yue, you..." Song Yao yelled at Song Yu.

"Is she wrong, just look at her. I cannot see any talent in her, such a girl wants to be my Qi Ling Hu granddaughter?" Qi Ling Hu defended Song Yu.

Everyone became quiet in the living room, Wan Qi look at Qi Ling Hu in anger. Feeling aggrieved, she did not think Qi Ling Hu would say that to her. How is she not able to compare to Song Yu, Wan Qi kept silence.

"Xiao Yue, staying here will waste your talent. Let me trained you, grandfather promise you. You will become my best..." Qi Ling Hu stopped what he was about to say.

Song Yu did not know or take it to seriously, but after she came back to country Z. She knew what her grandfather wanted to say, he had wanted to say the 'you would become my best work'

She knew her grandfather may dote on her and care about her, but she knew. The only thing her grandfather cared about was power. She knew that Qi Ling Hu adored her as his granddaughter and took her under his wing that year, was all because she had the capability and used for him.

Qi Ling Hu wanted to make her the best of the best, above all people in the world. He wants her not to be weak, he did not want to see the soulless Song Yu. He had told Song Yu to not fall in love and not feel anything, he did not want her to be weak.

Qi Ling Hu did not allow Song Yu to do worthless things, in his eyes. Song Yu should put all her energy in bringing her company to the next level, if he ever finds out that she fell in love with someone or became weak.

Qi Ling Hu would not hesitate to kill the person that made Song Yu weak, she knew it all. Everything her grandfather gave and made her do. Was an atonement for Qi Ling Hu, she knew he had fell in love and was hurt greatly by the woman he loved.

Song Yu knew Qi Ling Hu did not want her to become like the old him, but nobody knows what she really wants. No one, not even Gu Chen who loved her deeply. She only wants to be treated like a normal human, like a normal couple. She yearned for someone who can truly understand her, Gu Chen told her to be herself whenever she was with him, but she was afraid that being herself in front of him. Gu Chen would leave her, she was afraid.

Song Yu hated to be alone, the feeling of loneliness feels like something that could eat her whole. She wants to just be a normal girl working for a company, go out with friends and dates. But she could not, she got a her gang and company to take care of. Even if she could let it all go, Qi Ling Hu and everyone would not allow her so.

She needs power for her revenge, there was too many things for her to do. But Qi Ling Hu had been hindering her, thinking back about what daemon said to be careful of Qi Ling Hu. She had heard it many times, she could never really do anything to her grandfather. She owed him, he was like a father figure to her.

"Pak" Song Yu fell onto the ground, her head felt like breaking apart. Her mind was in a disarray, her mind was in a blank. Darkness engulfed her whole, she felt cold all over. "Ahhhh" Song Yu shouted, she take it.

He head was as though it had been smashed onto the ground, it hurts badly. Song Yu could not breath, she tries her best to calm herself down but she could not. She hyperventilated, her chest pumping up and down profusely.

It was sickening, she felt horrified. "Helped!" Song Yu shouted weakly, she tried to crawl from the floor to her desk. It was tiring, she used all her strength to move. 'she could not die, there was still a lot of things for her to do' was all in her mind.

She almost reached her desk when her whole body gave up on her, she collapsed on the ground yet again. "Gu Chen...." She weakly said before fainting on the ground.
