"Is she that adopted daughter of yours? The one who cheated on you with your boyfriend?" Ramon asked, though he already knew the answer from the pictures in his hand. The two people behind Eve were Gloria and her first husband, who used to work in the army but later died. In fact, Gloria's late husband was the one from the Shrivastava family, and it was after his death that his wealth became Gloria's.
It wasn't hard for him to guess who Eve was. The gossip about Gloria marrying a younger man had spread like wild fire back then. And when that same man ran off with her niece, it had made every headline.
But he hadn't realized that niece would be his current wife.
"You are correct." Gloria smiled, her gaze filled with venom. "I was planning to raise a human, but I never thought she would be a snake in human disguise."
Ramon didn't care much about Gloria's bitterness and went straight to the point. "So, you want me to give her to you?"
