Chapter 7

Samantha

The silence of the night was haunting me to the core. In this big shiny car, sitting like a queen, I felt alone and scared, with this creature sitting beside me. My chest was palpitating faster than air and I still can't believe anything that just happened to me in this. So much to consume, and this little head of mind was aching badly. And I couldn't figure out what was going to happen next.

I was uncomfortable, and I kept my eyes to the side of the window, peeking out through it, and staring at the city light getting faded when the car took a turn into a deserted road. Something that I was familiar with too. I was focusing on spotting the place, so in case I need to escape, I have a place to run.

How funny is this? I am thinking about escaping even after being purchased by this animal sitting beside me. I should give a clap to my enthusiastic attitude. 

The darkness soon covered the entire area, and I wasn't able to see anything except the road lightened by the headlights of the car. My focus drifted to the front mirror, but I sighed and closed my eyes, and tears poured down to my cheeks.

"Hey!! Is everything okay?" Suddenly, his chilled voice got heard, and I felt my heart stop beating for a while.

"Relax! I won't eat you… consider yourself lucky that you are with me, instead of any other pimps and hungry vampires…" he chuckled at the end of his words.

My eyes widened at this revelation and I couldn't stop myself from asking him, "Vampires?"

They decorated his face with amusement. "guess you aren't familiar with any of us? Haha!!!" he giggled, "sorry for laughing, but I forgot you are a human…" he added further.

Vampires? What the fuck? Are they real enough? I couldn't believe this shit, yet everything happened in front of my eyes. I was sitting with one in this car. Of course, he is one of them and someone powerful as I saw how much Sebastian was terrified of his presence…

"What are you thinking? Oh! There must be too many things…" he said, but I shut my eyes forcefully and hoped that this was just a nightmare and I would wake up in my bed. Unfortunately, nothing like that happened. I was still stuck in this loop of fate, cursing myself for being too stupid.

Suddenly, my eyes caught a glimpse of lights and a place in this deserted area. I got astonished for a moment but soon my astonishment turned into anxiety. What is this place and definitely, it's not something I can be safe around these creatures?

A couple of days ago, I was living a normal life, but this one scared me the most. I still wish that this is just a bad dream. Nothing else.

When I got lost in my thoughts.. The man beside me applied brakes near the huge castle-like place.. I am sure it's a castle with ancient walls decorated with intricate patterns.

I noticed he exited the car and approached to open the passenger window. 

"Come out, beauty…" he said while I felt more disgusted than ever.

I was reluctant to leave this car, but he grabbed my arm and pulled me out like a rag doll.

"Ahh…" I squealed.

"Don't be so delicate… you have to face all this every day…" he glared right into my eyes.

Wish I could explain how terrified I felt, because I noticed something else poured into his eyes. 

"Follow me, and don't get lost by the sight inside the castle. If you don't want to get eaten by the vampires inside.. You will survive…" he smirked at me and then walked away to enter the place.

I didn't want to go inside with him, so I stayed and ran in the opposite direction. Worst choice I ever made, because in the next second, he stood towering in front of me. I gasped when he grabbed me by my waist and tossed me over his shoulders.

"Let me go!!!!" I screamed, but nothing worked.

In a moment, I got tossed on the need of a random room and he was on top of me, tucking my hands over my head, and stared into my eyes. His devilish smile made my heart beat faster, yet I was terrified to the core.

"Why did you purchase me? I need an answer…" I mustered some courage to ask, though I knew I was digging my grave.

He was observant, and utterly silent about my query, yet something fixed his eyes on me.

He shocked me by revealing that he wanted me as his slave.

"What?" I whispered in disbelief..

"What? Why so surprised?" He got off from me and watched me from a distance.

"A slave?" Those words still caught me off guard.

"What else did you expect? Is it a queen or something? You were going to be a slave to any of those hungry vamps, yet I chose you to save your life," he added.

"This is not saving life, it's ruining…" I yelled at him in frustration.

Suddenly, his eyes turned red, and he pinned me against the wall, with his hand cupping face roughly, he spat on my face, "you should be grateful that I, Landon Knightly, spent ten millions dollars on your virgin ass, on a human like you. I don't even whore with human girls, you must be the lucky one." he let go of my face and was content by his awful behaviour.

"Since you already ruined this for us, I am no longer interested in spending this night with you." he pushed me and I fell on the floor.

He left the door with a loud thud, and I rushed to reach the knob but found the door locked. That bastard locked me up here. For what? I did nothing to him, not to his people, and these creatures I have never known that exist. How can someone's life change in a who9le night? My heart was wrenching and floodgates opened.

Facing my back at the door, I sat down on the floor and thought about my life now. Why didn't I listen to my parents? They must be thinking about me, probably looking for me. In a matter of a night, I turned into a slave, purchased by a vampire lord.

Why? What did I do wrong? Why is this happening to me?

Landon

Sitting swiftly in my office when I smelled his scent in the corridor. He must be pissed right now, very much pissed. I would love the paleness on his face.

Suddenly, my office door burst open, and I saw his yellow eyes staring down at my body.

"Pleased with my looks, brother?" I cocked an eyebrow at my brother, Gage.

"Why? Why the hell did you bring a human into this house?" He demanded so aggressively. Even my temper was losing control.

"This isn't the first time I brought a whore in this place, and why does it matter to you?" I crossed him more.

He rolled his eyes and in a second; he stood in front of me, facing his face to me.

"You brought a human whore… this place is full of…"

"What? This place is full of slaves, and I brought another. Why does it matter to you? It was my money, my decision.. I spend it my way.. Why is it bothering you?" I yelled at him.

"Landon, I have tolerated every one of your bullshit, but this time, you have crossed your limits… keeping her alive will put us in danger…" he showed his concern.

"I know that.. But this isn't the only reason I saved her life.. I have paid ten million dollars for this human whore. Now it's her turn to return the favour. After all, everything comes with a price." I smirked while thinking about hundreds of ways to destroy her.
