20.2 Suspicions

He finished his tea and stood up to put it in the sink when a transparent pouch on the end of the counter caught his eye.

"What's this?" he asked his aunt, who was still busy tidying up.

"Oh, these are just some people we have to keep an eye on as part of the investigation," she replied without looking up from her task.

Yomo leaned forward to get a better look out of sheer curiosity and was chilled by what appeared before his eyes. In the folder, the information sheet visible in the foreground had Rau's picture on it. Yomo frowned. He glanced back but saw his aunt leave the living room and head for the bathroom, where she was busy retrieving the basket of dirty things to start a machine.

"Any suspects?" he asked.

"No, just people we're following for security," she said quickly.
