Caution.

If there was anything that I learned from that bastard Bronx, then it would be to always be cautious no matter the situation.

And while I really did care for Ferrari, I wasn't stupid.

The very first day he brought me to this apartment, I suspected something was off about him.

The only reason why back at the cabin I was able to fully trust him and be vulnerable around him, was because the place was secure. I used my free time to look around for any video cameras or wiretaps.

But the place was clean.

However, his apartment was a different story.

I first discovered the wiretaps the day Irina came over to cook, while helping her in the kitchen, I noticed one under the wine cabinet.

Ferrari must've called her over to do the house hold work so I'd never find him out. Ever since then, I started to suspect Ferrari, and became much more cautious.
