Tinnie's POV
"Tinnie?" Aki nudged me again, snapping me back to reality.
He'd bugged me for over four hours, and my patience was thin.
"Huh?" I grumbled, not even bothering to hide my annoyance. I just wanted to concentrate on what I was up to.
"Check me out," he said, sounding way more profound than expected. I rolled my eyes and looked up, thinking he was probably messing around. I almost choked on my spit when I saw him.
What. The. Heck.
"Aki… seriously, what are you even wearing?" My words caught in my throat. And by "wearing," I meant *not* wearing because he was standing there shirtless, smirking as he knew exactly what effect he was having on me.
What was he trying to prove, showing off those abs, that chest? I could feel my cheeks heating up as I tried to tear my gaze away.
"Put on a shirt," I mumbled, standing up abruptly and heading to the kitchen to grab a glass of water. Anything to cool down and distract me from the flustered mess he'd turned me into.
Suddenly, it felt like the temperature had spiked. I took a long sip of water, willing my thoughts to stay clean. *Wow, Tinnie, get a grip.*
But just as I started to calm down, I heard him call my name again, "Tinnie?"
I turned around, and, curse my luck, there he was, arms crossed, still shirtless. Seeing him had me sputtering mid-sip, water spilling as I tried to look anywhere but at him.
That chest was way too distracting.
"What?" Sure, sure… Hey, could you throw on some clothes, please? You're distracting me and please.
"Is that distracting?" He had this huge grin on his face, really enjoying himself. If I could wipe that grin across his face, I would do it.
Na, nothing." He leans in closer.
Who ordered me to swing by this penthouse and get this flirty dude handled?
"You drool a little," he told me gesturing to my mouth, his face wide in a grin as I quickly wiped it off, only to hear him burst with laughter.
"You're so annoying!" I snapped.
Innocent one minute, then suddenly... Mr. Seductive Greek God. What a mess.
"Just say the word, and I'll make sure you're carrying my baby," he teased, leaving me momentarily speechless. Like excuse me? You don't have to say something that so out of context.
"Screw you," I shot back, but he just laughed harder. True to my 'walk-out queen' reputation, I brushed past him, determined not to look back.
"I've got a comeback for that," he called after me.
"What?"
"Deep and hard." He put his arm around me.
I pushed him away. Why is he being so flirty today?
"Girls who can rock oversized shirts… so sexy." A shiver ran through me as his words hit my skin. That bedroom voice of his-somebody save me, or I could fall for it. Or not
"Stop it. You're being a perv." I shot him a glare.
"You like it." I blushed at his words.
Voila, Tinnie; that's for humoring him.Now look at your neck and collarbone… there are…
Uh…
What are they…
Hickies.
You're such a flirt, too, Tinnie. You know you're tempting him.
"The view here is something," he said, gazing at the city lights.
It was beautiful.
"But you know what's even more beautiful, Tinnie?" He leaned close, resting his head on mine.
"What?" I smiled, bracing myself for another one of his cheesy lines.
"Your legs." I gave him a quick pinch on his side, and he laughed.
Do I look like a clown to him?
"Tinnie, your legs are just… irresistible. And who wouldn't be seduced by that? You're in an oversized shirt, and I can't tell if you're wearing shorts underneath or not." He gave me a look dripping with mischief.
Ugh, really. This guy's mind just doesn't quit.
"You're such a pervert!"I huffed, playfully pushing him away.
"Haha, okay, I'm giving up," he chuckled, hands up in mock surrender.
"Oh, giving up? Why would you do that? I am gorgeous, you know," I said, throwing a smug smile his way.
He rolled his eyes."You're so full of yourself sometimes, Tinnie. That's exactly why I keep flirting with you." I stuck my tongue out at him, unable to resist playful defiance.
I should escape before he pulls any more tricks.
No matter how much I tease him, he never gets tired of me.
That's Anthony Kiel Cruise for you. One thing I've learned about him? He's got a sweet side.
I guess… I'm lucky.
