Never be sad. Part two.

The next day was as beautiful as ever. I woke up to birdsong and immediately felt a rush of energy. I was happy and no one could change that.

Even though I was still in a cage, I still felt like the freest person I could be. Smiling at the new day, I looked up and saw Cameron.

"Good morning," I said.

"Good morning dear. How did you sleep?"

"Good. I slept very well. When do you think I'll be able to walk?"

"When will you be able to walk? I don't know. That's for our doctors to decide."

"I'm hungry."

And then she waved her hand and two men entered the room, who, to my luck, opened my cage.

"I think you're ready to start living again," Cameron said.

I was glad I was finally free. But somewhere deep down, my true self doubted whether I was doing the right thing. My true self felt that I had a split personality.
