"Mr. Elton, there must be some misunderstanding."

Cliff hurried forward to explain and winked several times at Gill.

"Yes. I only came to deliver snacks to Mr. Elton. I didn't do anything!"

"So you mean I misunderstood you and made a false alarm?"

Elton stared at her fiercely. The sharpness in his eyes instantly made Gill turn pale again in fright.
