Chapter 12 Someone You Can't Afford to Offend

Frederick looked down at her expression and said in a low voice, "I know I hurt you, and I'm not trying to get back together with you. I want to make up for you."

Jenny glanced at her watch. "Mr. Barnes, I am not as rich as you. I have to work hard for money. Please don't waste my time."

Frederick sighed. The two walked out of the villa. On the way to the company, Jenny deliberately sat in the back seat. Both of them had something on their minds, and they were silent all the way.

Just a block away from the company, Jenny said, "Put me here. I don't want people to see me get out of your car. If so, I won't be able to explain clearly about it."

Frederick said lightly, "Don't worry. No one knows this car is mine."

He drove a car worth sixty thousand dollars today, which was indeed not suitable for the status of a company president.
