When I growup

*Excerpt* "I am thinking of taking out a loan," I rolled my eyes, and thought to myself secretly, 'what an idiot but I can help this idiot!' I began with my lecture, educating a dedicated 'servant' is the duty of the 'master'. "A loan from a bank takes around 30 years to pay off, but if you rob a bank you are out in 10," "Ah...erm...Di'ordi what's with your head?" I felt puzzled by this, I mean my logic is sound! you don't have to worry about food and shelter in prison. I mean my 'servant' is decent enough to become a big boss while in prison. "Nothing, I robbed a bank a while back but my accomplice got caught the fool spent 10 years in prison but now she's out and living well." Ah, my last life but she will never know. "f*ck!" "No need to spout such filthy words, I haven't beaten you to a pulp or anything," -- Di'ordi had lived a fulfilling life and died beside the man she loved and surrounded by the men who secretly loved her. Of course, those men had been repeatedly suppressed for the past hundred years but because they are in fact his shattered soul made flesh weakening him, he had granted them a boon to stay by her side as her friends. Upon her death, his fracture souls were then bonded to her wandering soul and followed her to the thousands of light-years away planet to be reborn and join her once again. The issue is, it became a bit complicated due to her siblings and other circumstances. --- *Disclaimer notice: the cover is not mines, credit to the original owner* original novel~ please vote, thank you~ WPC February event~

Family means everything to these people

A few minor surprises occurred during my fifteenth party. Now among the elite, their warp thinking is troubling. I constantly question myself as to why the majority who ruled are exceptionally so damn ignorant.

At my party, these young girls dared to scheme.

Of course, my siblings, parents and servants are no fools so it was not anything dire. The three girls who chose to be my servant pets stood close by while I watched the first event that unfolded which caught my eye.

"Father I did not do it!"

"Lidia, come now, she said-"

"Father am I not your daughter?"

The brown-haired mixed girl looked at her father with a disappointed green gaze, her eyes were teary, her entire face filled with grievances.

I yawned, this girl is not the culprit but she is not innocent either, her family were invited via second hand after all.

This meant that they were guests of an invitee, this invite wanted a lacky that held power but not too much. Well, this is just my conjecture, I could be wrong but with an old soul, I doubt I would be and even if I am wrong. Well … hearing the daughter pitifully try and defend herself seem much more entertaining. I will not say a word and this too, will test those three at my side.

Let us see if they are worthy to stand by my side.

"First young master Jah, I can not accept this injustice, please give my daughter justice."

The father of the girl who had been insulted spoke up, from his words it is clear he was furious.

This did not prove that he cared for this daughter but simply a matter of face. Either way, at least he cared enough, looking around I thought that it would be nice to have a cup of-

"Goddess you look rather thirsty, allow this young master to serve you a cup."

Young master Tu appeared holding a medium-sized cup of tea, his gaze staring unwaveringly at my face. Even though this young master Tu is handsome I still thought of him as a mere child and possessed--for the moment--no attraction to this boy.

" Thank you young master Tu,"

I took the cup and took a sip, ah, his tea is always delicious, warmed the body and quenched my thirst even affecting my mood by making me feel much more lively.

After taking a few small sips I habitually passed the cup back to him and continued to look at the show in front of me.

"This is my sister's fifteenth birthdate. The Jahs should be furious because you dare to scheme at this event. Do you think we would care for those who would try to?"

Second brother sneered, eldest brother did not say a word but it is clear that the siblings are in tacit agreement.

The girl who was weeping beautifully on a side suddenly paused and lifted her head. I tried my hardest to remember her face but nothing.

"That is Kuda Wenn the first born legal daughter of the Wenn family."

Right, the boy--er man who had led me into a trap has finally shown himself, if I had to choose between the three males who had popped up in my life I would lean heavily on this one.

Simply because of the hog plums.

"I have another gift for you," he whispered directly in my ear, the hot breath near my ear made me habitually lean closer to him.

"Mm," I said feeling slightly excited, usually when this band of mines have a gift for me it is usually something good.

Look I got a crocodile the last time!

What will I get now?!

"Second young master Jah, you may be of a higher class in this empire but when compared to our family in the third-ranked empire you mean nothing! It is in-"

"I think you are slightly insane,"

"You!"

"What?! Sir Wenn, I think you have forgotten, you dying here will mean nothing to us. Even if you have family in the third-ranked empire; what does that have to do with the Jah family?"

First father stepped forward, his eyes flashed a moment, I felt the anger through the bond.

I simply found that this Wenn sir is quite funny.

If you enter someone's premises should you not show some form of respect?

Seeking benefits is fine, some a*s kissing, flattery to help step half a rank higher than before using your daughter as cannon fodder.

Family, it means everything to these people but what exactly does that entail?

Sacrificing a daughter in the name of the greater good?

Glory?

Honour?

For a son to have a smoother path?

Tch, call me selfish because in my eyes I believe in every man for themselves, I would give you a hand when needed but to sacrifice myself so someone can have a better life?

Naive!

Foolish!

Even in my last life, I had never done such a foolish thing for my own children. I raised them to maturity, after that… they had to prove their own worth, that they can survive on their own without failing foolishly.

The world had become dangerous, humans had fallen from the top to become almost bottom feeders, on earth after the mad Queen appeared what was the worth of sacrifice?

In the eyes of those who were not useful, sacrificing meant nothing.

So looking at this male and the ways of those in the first to second kingdom thinking righteously that sacrifice for family is something to be proud of I simply have to 'pei' spit in disgust.

My gaze landed first on my twin fathers, my brothers, sister and finally the sister who-

- _-

-stared at me like a stalker. If any of them dare to sacrifice them, their life and those they cared about will be forfeited.

Blood meant nothing to me, but loyalty and trust.

"My daughter has been insulted in your home!"
