Where the hell did he go?

Ayan ang nag-iisang katanungan na agad rumehistro sa aking isipan ng muling tingnan ang walang laman na kwarto ni kuys.

Agad ko idinial si kie gamit ang aking telepono.

"Yow, paps?" panimula nito sa kabilang linya.

"Andyan ba si kuys?" kaswal na tanong ko rito.

"Si lejan? Wala naman,bakit?" balik tanong nito.

"Ah, w-wala sige salamat par." pinatay ko na ang tawag atsaka muling sinulyapan ang loob ng kwarto nito.

Ini-double check ko rin kung may note ba siyang iniwan sa side table dahil madalas ganoon ang ginagawa nito kapag may pupuntahan para hindi mag-alala sila mom.

Biglang nag-ring ang phone ko at ng makita sa screen ang tumawag ay agad akong nagtaka.

"Where's lejan?" panimula ni franchessca.

"H-huh? The same question that i'm figuring the answer's out." sagot ko rito.

"Fuck!" she hissed na muli kong ipinagtaka.

"W-why?" tanong ko rito kahit may ideya na ako na kahit papaano ay may alam siya sa nangyayari.

"Iniisa-isa nila tayo." her voice is serious, i already knew it dahil ayan din ang hinala ko.

"Sinong sila?" nag-maang-maangan kong tanong rito. Hindi niya pwedeng malaman ang lahat, sasabit kami rito pag nagkataon.

"You know what did happened to francisca?" she brings up.

"N-nope, w-why?" nakakunot ang noo kong tugon.

"She said there's a shadow behind her, an image of a mysterious girl."

"Is she okay?"

"Yup, and now u should do something to find lejan."

"Of course but don't interfere with this kind of stuff, ok?" I bit my lower lip as she ended the call.

I still have feelings for her, and it's driving me crazy.

I focused my attention on the laptop that I just grabbed a few minutes ago.

Cecilia Yoi

She's my brother's best friend for a long time. Is it possible that she is one of them?

Crizilia Yoi

Francisca's best friend for a long time also. And she's a younger sister of Cecilia. If her sister is in it, probably she also is.

Nathalia Sy

The one who's dating franchessca. They were pushing themselves just to be closer for us.

A day earlier, i met a woman named scheria. She doesn't talk too much yet she keeps asking me some details about us. She's kind and innocent but I also knew that she's somehow matured enough. She doesn't have any relationship from us. Although her existence is kinda suspicious.

A few consecutive knocks interrupts me with my deep thoughts.

"Nak!" mom's voice.

I immediately closed my laptop as I opened my room's the door.

"Why mom?" I tried to be calm although she's expressing anxiety right now.

"Kagabi pa hindi umuuwi ang kuya mo! Do you know where he is? Did you two had a fight?" sunod-sunod nitong tanong kasabay ng pagsara niya ng pintuan ng kwarto ko.

She keeps dialling kuys but he isn't responding.

"Nakailang tawag na ako sa kanya, wala pa rin." she said as she cried and still looks perturbed.

I hugged her while she continously cried on my shoulders.

I patted her back and gently caressed her hair.

"Mom, calm down." naramdaman ko ang paulit-ulit niyang pag-iling and she didn't say anything afterwards.

Nang magkalas kami ng yakapan ay agad kong hinawakan ang kaniyang magkabaling siko.

"He'll gonna home sooner mom, you have to trust him. He's now a big boy." I keep telling her positive words as she just stares at me, she looks awful and doesn't believe on what I said.

"Ayang bata na yan talaga, grounded yan pagkauwi niya ha!" lumuluha pa ring sabi ni mom habang ako naman ay gumalaw para punasan ang luha sa kaniyang mga pisngi.

"I'll find where he is, mom." i smiled at her as she looks at me sincerely.

"W-what do you m-mean?" she asked.

"I'll also keep dialling him for me to find him." I explain in a low-key way.

She just nods at me as she held my hands.

"Franchessca's here." she smiled at me atsaka pumihit na papatalikod upang makalabas ng pintuan.

I stunned when I heard what my mom says.

As I step outside my room, i immediately headed the way downstairs.

She is trully right here.

Ipinagmasdan niya lamang ako habang papalapit ako sa kanya.

"How could you didn't tell this thing to us?" masama ang tingin na panimula niya.

Napabuntong-hininga ako ng malalim bago sagutin ang tanong niya.

"Because all of you wouldn't have to interfere with it." sinalubong ko ang mga matatalim niyang tingin.

"Lejan's missing! Of course we're in this fucking shit!" namumula ang mukhang singhal niya.

"Lower your voice, frances." her jaw clenched as she keeps glaring at me.

"Don't call me that. What did you tell tita rhia?" i bit my lower lip as I frustratedly tweaked my hair.

Alam niya na kaagad ang mga sasabihin ko hindi pa man ako nagsalita.

"Jeez! You didn't said the fact that he's missing! What kind of sibling are you! "

"It's for the better, i'll figure it out mysel--"

"Don't dare you!"

"Just please... " i rappidly massage my temples.

"Don't get in my way, frances."
