Borrowed Knife

Screams were heard tonight, since I was fighting thugs I had no problem knocking them out, behind me were Zabuza and Haku, just mindlessly making sure they're dead.

"Where's Gato!"

I grabbed the head of a guy who had the most decent clothes here, he looked like a high ranking thug in this place.

"Never!"

Someone was really loyal even though he was just a thug, I looked behind me, Zabuza and Haku were taking their time in killing the knocked out people.

"Tsukuyomi!"

After a second I let him go and as usual he was sweating.

"So, will you tell me now?"

"He's at the building! He's hiding at his office as usual!"

I then threw him to where Zabuza and Haku was, at first I was tempted to use 'Ningendo' but it wasn't worth since he had nothing else to offer and I could have killed him and I'm not ready for that 'yet'.

I rushed towards where Gato was and knocked out the thugs who didn't stand a chance, Gato was alarmed but couldn't do anything, I summoned a clone and grabbed his head with it.

I slowly walked out of the building, I then threw him towards Zabuza who had finished stabbing a thug.

I then summoned more clones and did a quick hunt and brought all the thugs here, I'm not sure if there are innocent's here but considering Gato is considered a criminal I have no guilty thoughts, they were an accomplice they should have known it would have been coming sooner or later.

When Zabuza saw Gato, he immediately cut his head off, the two continued killing after an hour when everything was finished.

"Done?"

"Y-yes."

Zabuza sat down as Haku helped him, I nodded.

"His wealth is there, I hope its enough for whatever you want to do."

"Haku."

"Yes."

I looked at them, Haku came forward to me and this time he nodded at me, he showed me everything he could do and I learned it instantly but the thing I wanted to do was.

I nodded, it was useful and I wanted to learn it to screw people around.

"Remember our deal brat."

"Next week."

"You're forgetting something."

Haku threw the body of a thug in front of me, I remembered but somehow it felt like I don't want to do it. The guy had pleading eyes but I shook my head

Zabuza saw my hesitation, he came over to me and handed me his blade, the Kubikiribocho, I accepted it with two of my hands.

"I know its hard kid, but like you said, sooner or later you have to learn how to kill to survive, use my blade for now so you feel less guilty."

He tapped my shoulder, He then made the thug kneel in front of me and Haku froze him in place, they looked at me and nodded, they turned their backs and left me alone.

"I'm sorry"

I said before I slashed down the man's neck, blood spurted but before it could reach my clothes I dodged it.

Suddenly I wanted to puke as it was my first kill, although I've seen death recently but doing it is different from actually seeing it, I couldn't stop myself as I puked at the other side.

When I was done, I just place Kubikiribocho down to the ground.

"I'm done."

Zabuza and Haku came over, they nodded and didn't say anything else.

"See you next week."

I immediately left them behind, I'm glad there was no one else, after I returned to the hut, I waited until it was sunrise to release everyone as I need to process what had happened.

"AH!"

I heard two people scream, three people groan, Naruto, Yamato immediately went outside to search for me as they both felt something was wrong.

"Yuki!"

"What? I'm sleeping."

I jumped in front of them and they were surprised, Yamato had a conflicted look while looking at me.

"Did something happen yesterday?"

"Nothing why? Everyone fell asleep so fast that I had to guard the whole night."

"I see."

"Well everyone looked so tired especially you Sensei, you fell asleep when you sat on the couch that I had to carry you, as for Kakashi and Sasuke they were asleep already."

Yamato sighed and believed me, I mean I don't know but when I looked at their clothes it was wet with their drools, looks like they had the time of their lives.

"Can I sleep?"

I asked them as it was really tiring mentally, Yamato nodded and I entered, Kakashi was still fast asleep even though I released them already, I wonder what this sleeping single dog was dreaming of.

I didn't care, when I entered Sasuke rubbed his eyes that was full of tears, I shook my head and didn't say anything as I entered the room he was in and damn it was with probably with his tears.

I sighed and when I looked at the couch where Sakura was she was hugging the pillow, I woke her up.

"Hey, its your turn to guard."

"Sasu- Ah Yuki."

She had woken up and just nodded, she smiled and was walking slowly, when she was gone I immediately slept on the couch.

"Gato is dead?"

Everyone asked the same question as they heard the story, they followed where he had supposedly died.

"Wake up Yuki."

Yamato told Sakura who had nothing to do, shortly after Yuki arrived along with Kakashi, though injured he too was surprised and wanted to confirm it.

When they arrived at Gato's complex they were all stunned to see corpses everywhere, some beheaded, mutilated, but some were in perfect conditions?

Sakura and Naruto puked at the sight as it was gruesome and their first time, Sasuke held his own, but Kakashi and Yamato knew that if not, this was the work of Zabuza and Haku, they now had conflicted expressions.

Should they follow? No, there mission ends here, if a mission comes up to find and subdue them they will do it but right now this was too much for a genin squad.

"Hey why are you sulking Yuki?"

Naruto asked as we departed, I had to act disappointed right now, them mission was over anyway not like there will be Gato 2.0 since we did our jobs last night.

"I don't know, I ran all the way here just for it to be randomly completed, but still, to it be called Naruto Bridge, I wonder how you convinced them to do that."

"Because I'm going to be Hokage!"

"Yeah Yeah."

The trip was nothing else but boring, but I listened to them talk and would continue talking along the way, we shared stories and experiences while Yamato and Kakashi would listen from the front.

I was happy when we finally arrived at Konoha, we all eventually parted ways, when finally me and Kakashi were alone.

"Nii-san."

"Yuki."

"I want to go and investigate my birth place, where I was found."

"You can't."

"I'm strong enough besides, I've also investigated the Chunin's and asked them where, its not like I'm betraying the village, besides you already know I'm more than capable of holding on my own."

"Was it you?"

"What do you mean."

"Did you kill all those thugs and Gato yourself?"

"No, I was guarding everyone at night since you all were fast asleep."

Kakashi looked at me and nodded.

"Alright, be back before the Chunin exams start, I doubt that you're still not up for promotion and even then I'm sure the Hokage would want you to be a Chunin so he'll assign you to more tasks that are more difficult."

"Thank you!"

I hugged him and turned around back to the gate.

"If its for your 'Mother' I won't stop you since it has been bothering you for ages, go and find peace, I'm sure you'll find the answers sooner or later."

I nodded and didn't say anything.

When Yuki had left Kakashi took a deep sigh, as time passed Yuki had become stronger and the fear of him betraying the village increased, but he doubt he could do that since he had some attachment towards the relationships.

He wasn't afraid that he would encounter something difficult, just that he would be annoyed by what the Hokage would say, in fact he had been waiting for Yuki to ask him about this.

'I think its good he asked and promised to come back, I'll explain to Yamato and the Hokage later on.'

For all he knew about Yuki he could have just left and said nothing and with his potential perhaps when he comes back even he may not be able to beat him.
