Chapter 9

^^(The goddess)^^

The next morning ~

Haaa~ I had a good sleep. I have finished my swordsmanship training and breakfast. Zayden said that there is something important that he needs to discuss with us. So here we are .....in my room.

"Angel....yesterday was your birthday so I didn't mentioned this....but you have memories of your previous life don't you?"

Ackk! How did he know? Nonono.....he said 'don't you' so he isn't sure. Now, all I have to do is act like I know nothing.

"What do you mean by that, Zayden? I don't have memories from my previous life." I put on my most innocent smile .

"Angel, yesterday that girl said 'capture target' but she didn't specify our name.....so how did you know it is us. Don't say it is from a novel....the word 'capture target' doesn't exist in our world" nii-chan said with a serious face

Aghh.....their eyes are piercing through me.

"It was just a guess....it was just a coincidence"

"The Angel we know don't act on 'guesses'. You only say things you are sure of." Carson said with the 'we know you too well,give up' expression

They just have to know me this well. Should I give in? Wa-

"You need not lie to them for they are the same." A sweet voice appeared

From the corner of the room a lady ...no ......she is the goddess. She appeared in my dream before to tell me the circumstances. Though what she stated are the obvious facts so I already know all of them.

"Since you all gathered my blessed children, I shall explain the questions you have."

"So you are the goddess......I saw you in one of my dreams." Zayden states

"I believe all of you have.Now let me explain."

She took a sit beside me.

"All of you have memories from your previous life. You all previously lived on 'earth' which is planet managed by my dear sister. I managed to ask sister to make each of you to play a 'game'. For you boys, it's the adventure game that has the same setting as this world. I successfully made you play the whole game. However, I only managed to get Angelica to play the start of the game but I guess you already know the whole story since your 'friends' told you and-"

"They are not real friends." I whispered in a low tone

The boys seemed surprise. After all, I never cut off someone talking like that since it is improper.

"I get why you are angry....I'm sorry . I should have used the term acquaintances."

"I'm sorry for interrupting .That was improper of me. Please continue." I bowed my head

"It wasn't your fault. Now continuing, the 'otome game' is just a way to give you a example of this world, Laptunia. The blessed child in the real world is not the heroine, that bitchy child but you, Angelica. I have set my eyes on four of you since you were born in your previous world . There would be difficulties from now on, and I wish four of you will work together to accomplish many great things. Hold out your hands."

We all did as she said.A watch appeared at each of our hands. We all assumed she wanted us to put it on so we did.

"This is a magical item. This will connect you to each other. You will know each other's location when you want to find each other. It will also send signals to others if one of you feel threatened,sad or scared against your will.

You wouldn't be able to take it off once you wear it.And each of you will have a spirit familiar to assist you in battles."

Woah~ four wolves like spirit appeared in front of each of us.

"Give them a name and the contract will be sealed. They're all compatible with each of your elements."

"I'll name you Crystal." I look at my familiar with fur as white as snow and crystal blue eyes.

I guess she liked that name since she is licking me nonstop. Hehe~ I've always wanted a pet.

"I'll name you Christ" nii-chan said smiling at his blueish-white familiar.

"Since you're fur is black, Kuro shall be your name" Zayden smiled patting his familiar.

"Then you will be Ray" Carson hugged his red eyed familiar.

"Glad to see all of you getting along. I shall leave now." The goddess said.

She vanished.....I wanted to ask her something, too bad. I was wondering why I suddenly have a hard time breathing sometimes, I wonder if it is a disease.

"Since now we all know each other have past memories.....let's share it ,shall we?" Zayden suggested

"Sure, I'm in"

"Me too"

What do I do.......I'll just go with it. I nodded my head.

"Since I suggested it....I'll start first. I was empty. Nothing really interested me. I had the best result in most of the things I did but it never really made me happy. I spend most of my days playing computer game after leaving the orphanage and that's how I came across the game of this world. My boring life ended when I was fifteen."

"I died at the same age as you. I was an unwanted child that wasn't aborted even though I was an accident. My parents didn't give me love but I didn't really wanted their love either. I wan't tost out due to my grades. I'm quite glad I died since I have such loving parents with such a cute sister this life."

"Died at fifteen too. My parents were very strict since I came from a wealthy background. They'd starve me if I don't do something within the short limit. Honestly, I felt nothing. I became a walking empty doll. But I'm happy that I have genuine friends this life."

They all looked to me.......how do I tell them? How can I tell them my dreadful past.....no I have to. But will they accept it? Will they still stay with me after knowing it?

Just when I was about to open my mouth to speak,there was a loud scream. That was mama's voice. We all ran towards the source.

"Mama! Papa!" My eyes widened in shock of the scene in front of me.Tears were coming out my eyes like waterfall.

Mama was holding onto papa who had blood gushing out from his stomach with his head on her lap while she was crying. Carson rushed over to check Papa's pulse. He nodded. Oh thank goddess! Zayden was quick to act and had already captured the disgusting trash with his magic. He was wearing a servant's uniform...

Nii-chan walked over to treat Papa's injuries temporarily with his Ice magic. Papa's injuries won't be able to affect him, it should only take a few hours at most for him to wake up since he is strong.

I walked over to the culprit and slapped him hard but not so hard that his head will fly off. I thought I was about to lose someone important to me.

"Who are you? Who sent you? Answer me. Trash." I demanded in a cold voice while my blood lust and murderous intent leaked out from my body as I glared at him.

I focused on the culprit because I know nii-chan will take care of papa.

"Not answering huh. Wrong choice." As I use magic to conquer out a knife made of ice.

Slowly I glide it through his skin. I use my non-elemental magic to make it 1000 times more painful. As he groaned in pain, I smirked. This type of people tend to betray people the fastest.

"Does it hurt? It hurts doesn't it fufu~ Now tell me who send you?"

"It's Baron Daniel's daughter. She sent me! Please have mercy" He pleaded

"Thank you for the evidence.....I have the recording now. But to give you mercy after you stabbed my dear father......not even in your dreams."

As I use the knife to cut him slowly to death . Zayden helped by making a sword from his magic and slowly slicing him piece by piece.I was holding back thinking she may be one of my friend's lover but now she had done it. She is done for. My papa is like a second father to Carson and Zayden. We will not let her off so easily even if she didn't kill papa. We shall make her suffer......
