On my back the little kid Alruna suddenly appeared without notice.

Hey! Don't do that you know! I almost got a heart attack because of you!

This kid, is she planning on killing me? I still have a weak heart for this kinda off thing you know.

This kid, if she continue doing this to me I would really need to device a plan on counter attacking soon...

"Well that's that but, kuya? You said that you will make a house right? All I can see here is a fallen tree you know?"

Now she make a face like she suddenly figure out something.

"Ahh! I'm right aren't I? You weren't able to make a house right? You can't easily do a house in just a short time after all! Ha! I told you so! Shame on you kuya! Shame on you!"

Ahhh... This kid is really annoying. But I will just let her laugh for now but I will definitely have the last laugh.

What are you even teasing me for LITTLE KID? If I didn't make a house, we'll get eaten by those monsters you know!

Ha! What about that you kid. With this I would be able to scare her atleast right? Well, in the first place I don't understand why she's teasing me about the house, when our lives is on the line with the creation of it.

She look everywhere to find the house but she instantly give and look at me with a confused look.

Only half though, the house I made is under that tree! Obviously, the tree is just a camouflage.

I walk to where I made the entrance of the house and look at the clueless Alruna that is looking at me like she's looking at an insane person.

"Are you serious kuya? Aren't you just lying to me because you can't make a house?"

I'm not letting you in if you don't want you know.

Hmmp! If this kid keep teasing me, I'm really just going to feed her to the monster.

There's a sound coming from my stomach.

"Hmp! fine then, I even picked up so many food so that we can eat as much as we want you know. It's just a small tease and you're already like that. Are you sure that you're not the kid between us? Not like I'm a kid. Hmp! fine, fine. I only need to hide behind that tree to not be seen by the monster anyways."

Hey, kid, aren't we friends already? I'm just joking you know, I'll let you in here of course. You will definitely share the food right?

Ahhh, I'm definitely hungry now. I still haven't eaten since this morning. I got so excited in the test results about the safety of going in the portal that I rushed the work and didn't eat just to finish everything.

Holy sheet she has already eaten! While she was talking I was able to see the bits of food in her mouth. She's just showing of so that I would be more hungry isn't she?

With some food on her mouth, she really just look like an innocent kid.

After that big smile, she walk into my direction and entered the house.

The house I made can be said to be underground. It doesn't have much besides one chair and a table but I completely made the floor into wooden so that atleast the floor wouldn't be cold.

For the roof, I used the wood as the support then cover it with dirt and the leaves.

I actually want to see the monsters myself so I leave a space in the ceiling so that I can see the forest from inside the house. It can be properly covered too with the last wood that I didn't use so that if the monster close in, I would be able to cover it and be hidden.

"Wow, this is kinda small isn't it."

Okay, before you insult the house that I made. I already have a strict time to make this u know. If given a bit more time, I could even make a makeshift 2 floor house you know.

"Ehh? No, no. I wasn't trying to insult it. This is actually kinda good. But I just want to ask, how do we fit when we sleep?"

If you look first, it's just a small 2x2 box that can only fit the table and the 2 chairs so I understand where she's coming from.

I know you'll ask that! If you look here, there's a table right. This table can be used as bed too. If you put it there then bwalah. It's a double decker bed!

I made both the table and the chair foldable while I made something in the wall so that you can put it there to save some space. The chairs can also act as bed if you put the. together.

Technically, you can just put the folded chair and table together but if my prediction is right...

"Ohhh!! I don't know what a double decker bed id or what but I definitely want the upper one! I'm definitely getting the upper one."

And a kid like Alruna would definitely want the upper bed.

She's really just like a kid.

Only adults can go there you know. If you're not used to it then you will definitely fall when you sleep after all.

"Are you saying that I'm a kid again? I'm definitely not you know? I can already sleep on my own and definitely won't fall okay!"

Well, actually. I'm the one that might fall so it's actually a good thing that she wants to take it.

She made a cat like innocent face that feigns innocence to what she has done.

I cant believe this girl have already eaten before coming here!

"Luckily I properly hold back myself from eating before coming here. Woooh.."

Now she made a face that looks like she's just done from a hard work. And her acting would have definitely work on me if only she didn't have the bits of food stuck on her mouth.

Yeah, luckily you have already eaten before so that means I could have the food you brought all by myself right?

She instantly put her hands on her mouth and tried to clean her mouth with her hands.

I then proceed to take the coat that I saw on her when I first met her that she used to store the food.

"Ehhhh! Give me some too Okay! We're definitely sharing okay! We're definitely sharing the food right?"

She definitely is just a child.
