Chapter 1: Lilith

He looked at the book in his hand that looked like full concentration but he was thinking about something. And that thought made his heart squeeze.

'Why?..'

Just one thought kept repeating in his head like a broken record.

He was always an intelligent boy. No, that would be an understatement to say. He surpassed intelligence by a far margin.

He learned many things in his 14 years of life. Now one week later, he was gonna turn into 15 but he didn't have any joy for his birthday.

He was sad. Filled with sorrow.

Why wouldn't he be?

His whole existence was shattered like a weak glass.

In this morning, he talked with his mother, the Queen of this kingdom.

He always talked happily with his mother but today was heartbreaking to say the least.

He was mad, really really mad but he was also sad.

One sentence kept repeating in his mind thatade his mind churn in pain.

As he was filled with these pain-filled thoughts a knock was heard by him.

Knock, knock.

"May I come in, You Highness?" A woman's voice that was like the voice of muses came from another side of the door.

Zodiac sighed and pushed these thoughts aside and looked at th door with a small smile.

"Come in."

He spoke with a smile.

His long silver hair that were tied in a long braid were shining in the light of moon. His eyes were covered in a silver cloth, still he was able to see everything perfectly.

The door opened and a woman in maid clothes entered.

She bowed a bit and lifted the hems of her maid dress. Her fair skin thighs showed a bit in this courtesy.

She had long voilet hair and red ruby eyes that shone with mischievousness and gentle light.

Her large cleavage was also showed as she bowed.

Zodiac waved his hand and spoke, "Why are you doing this?"

She raised her head and spoke with a small smile on her beautiful face that no one could appreciate as only Zodiac was there who was more beautiful than her, "I was here on the orders of Her Majesty."

"Oh? So she sent you?"

"Yes, but I also wanted to show you."

"Why?"

"Because I was thinking of naughty things and I wanted to show this side of mine only to you."

At this reply, Zodiac looked at the woman with deadpan expression.

"Speak, Lilith. What is it?" Zodiac spoke. He was already used to her teasings. She have to try to much harder to get an expected reaction from him.

Lilith pouted like a cute girl that created a huge contrast with her hot and sexy face.

Seeing her pout, Zodiac sighed.

He looked at her with a smile that made Lilith lose her breath.

"Can you tell me?"

Lilith controlled her erratic breathing and spoke with a serious expression, "I know what you talked to Her Majesty about."

Zodiac looked at the woman with serious expression, "So?"

Lilith came close to him. He was sitting on a sofa in his room.

She then sat on her lap.

Zodiac was shocked.

"What the?" He unconsciously spoke.

Lilith looked at Zodiac with a smile and hugged, placing her head on his chest.

"Worried?"

Zodiac became quiet and said nothing.

Lilith then hugged him tighter.

"Yes!"

"Why?"

"My existence was lie."

"It wasn't."

"But-"

"You are precious to everyone here. You are important to the Queen, the Supreme General and the princesses and....to me."

Hearing her, he smiled and patted her head.

"Thank you."

He spoke from the bottom of his heart.

Yes, they loved him. It doesn't matter that he was not what he thought. It doesn't matter they are not blood related to him.

It just doesn't fucking matter. What matters is that he loves them and they love him.

Seeing his thoughtful expression, Lilith smiled and thought, 'Its a good thing. His highness is a competent man.'

She always thought that he was really mature for someone of his age. Sometimes it was a disadvantage but sometimes it was an advantage like now.

As he was thinking, something soft touched his lips. He wake up from his stupor and looked ahead.

Seeing the scene, he was shocked to the core. Lilith was kissing him but only one lips.

After a couple of seconds, she separated her lips from his.

She looked into his eyes that were hidden from the silver cloth and spoke, "Don't worry. You have a family that will support you in your ups and downs."

After saying that, she stood up and prepared to leave but before she could exit the room, she heard a chilling cold voice of the man she just kissed, "Did you know about me from the start?"

A shiver ran down her spine. She really forgot who he was.

"No, Her Majesty told me today. She wanted me to console you. So, I asked the reason."

Lilith spoke with sweat on her hands. She was one of the most powerful people on planet, yet she was scared shitless here.

As Zodiac heard her, he smiled and nodded.

After that Lilith left the room, still drenched in sweat of fear.

Back in the room, smile on Zodiac had faded.

Even though, he knew they weren't gonna leave him. He was still mad. Lilith didn't know about it. He knew she was telling the truth.

He could tell a person is lying or not by his eyes even though, they were hidden.

He was mad, no he was furious that his mother didn't tell him about it.

She hid it from him. He hated when someone hid something from him and that is related to him.

Sigh...

In the end, he sighed and went to bed to sleep.

He just wanted to get a good night sleep for now. At least that wat he hoped.
