Chapter 16 - Mrs. Laxon

"Good evening, Auntie!" Ace said to Mrs. Laxon

"Good evening, Mrs. Laxon" said by Kyle and Kayze

"Oh, why hello dear" Mrs. Laxon said to them and then looked behind them "Oh, Aiah is also here huh?" Mrs. Laxon said

This shocked the three of them, Ace, Kyle and Lance. Since they didn't introduce Aiah to Mrs. Laxon yet but she knew who she was. This made them very curious.

"Wait mom, how did you know her?" Lance asked her Mom

"Oh, well. She and Kayze always comes here thrice a week to eat here. Of course you wouldn't know since you don't really want to help here." Mrs. Laxon said and then she hit Lance head

"They always help me with the shop that is also why I always give them some dinner." Mrs. Laxon added

"Wha..? So, you knew that Kayze had a girlfriend?" Lance asked her Mom

"Yeah. Kayze introduce me to her when they come to my shop. She's a very sweet girl, I don't even know why she fell for Kayze." Mrs. Laxon jokingly said to them

Kayze and Aiah laughed at Mrs. Laxon teasing them

"Why don't you eat inside?" Mrs. Laxon said to them "Come come, I'll prepare some food for you guys." Mrs. Laxon said

They all said yes and got inside the shop of Mrs. Laxon. They saw that a lot of people were inside and they are short-staffed.

"Wait a minute, my dears. I'll give you guys food later. Lance, help your dad with taking orders." Mrs. Laxon said and then she walked towards the kitchen

"We should help you guys since were here already." Kayze said to Lance

"You don't need to, dude." Lance said to them

"Come on, we will help. We are family here. And also so that we can replay auntie for always giving us food." Ace said to Lance

Lance smiled and walked towards the counter and screamed "Hey mom, bring me aprons for four people. Ace and the group is going to help us." He said

Lance mom walked outside and was shocked that the kids was helping with the customers. Ace and Kyle was getting the orders for the customers while Aiah and Kayze was helping the customers to get seated and keeping them happy so that they won't be bored. Lance was cleaning the tables and chairs.

They were all having fun while helping the store. The vibe was really wonderful after a while of helping the customers died down that is why they went to their tables. Lance was really exhausted while the group was also exhausted but not as exhausted as Lance since he has been helping ever since the morning comes.

Mrs. Laxon came to their table with some food in hand. She puts it down the table and thanked them for helping and said sorry for bothering them with the stuff in the store. Mrs. Laxon said that her husband told her to thanked them since they helped a lot in the store today.

"Oh my god no, Mrs. Laxon. We should be the one thanking you for taking care of us." Ace said to Mrs. Laxon

"Oh come on, dear." Mrs. Laxon said "We still have food inside so just tell us if you need anymore." Mrs. Laxon said to them

"Auntie, do you still have your secret chicken?" Ace asked Mrs. Laxon and was eagerly waiting for her answer

"Hmmm.. I'm pretty sure we got them sold out today." Mrs. Laxon said to Ace

Ace joy suddenly turned into sadness "Awww" Ace said

"I'll cook you some." Mrs. Laxon said to Ace "This is my reward for you guys helping. Don't worry about the price, it is all been taken care off." Mrs. Laxon said to them

"Hey, Mom. Can you also cook some chicken for me?" Lance asked his Mom

"Cook your own chicken." Mrs. Laxon said and then she snubbed Lance "And also Lance. The food you are going eat is also going out of your paycheck." Mrs. Laxon said to Lance

"But.. Mom… Why do they get free food and I don't?" Lance said to his Mom "Sometimes I wonder who is her real son me or you guys." Lance added

Mrs. Laxon went to the kitchen and told her husband to cook some chicken for the kids and Mr. Laxon agreed and went to work. Ace and Kyle was laughing at Lance because it seems like he is still being bullied even though they are not in school. But don't you guys worry. Mrs. Laxon just like teasing Lance and Lance always gets what he wants.

"What are guys going to do tomorrow?" Ace asked them since tomorrow is Sunday

"Hmm, I'll probably help here again since we are really short-staffed." Lance said to Ace

"What about you, Kyle?" Ace asked

"I got some errands to run tomorrow so I won't be able to hang out with you." Kyle said to Ace

"Awww. What about you two?" Ace asked Aiah and Kayze

"Well.. We got a date again tomorrow." Kayze said to them

"Ahhh. Being inlove is really cool huh. You guys always go on dates." Ace said to them

Ace doesn't have anything to do tomorrow since he always hangs out with them every weekends but now they all got plans for tomorrow. He didn't know where to go.

"What about you help me here?" Lance suggested to Ace

"Hmmm. I don't know if Auntie would agree to that though." Ace said to Lance

"You? My Mom wouldn't agree? I'm pretty sure if I asked her she would tell me that I am not needed here since you are helping." Lance said and they all laughed

"So, what do you say?" Lance asked Ace "I'll tell my mom that you are working here tomorrow." Lance added "Also just help me this once. I am always tired here because we are short-staffed." Lance said
