"At least now you know what he's planning," Amanda murmured, her eyes brimming with tears and her smile tinged with bitterness as she turned to Sienna.

"That's beside the point, A," Sienna retorted, her expression mirroring her friend's bitterness and sadness.

Amanda bowed her head, enveloped in a heavy silence, uncertain of what action to take. For a moment, the room was filled with nothing but the weight of unspoken words.

"In my opinion," Sara interjected, breaking the awkward silence, "You don't deserve this, Master Amanda. He's not worthy of you."

Sara couldn't tolerate a single aspect of Edward Milton's flawed personality. To her, individuals with such abhorrent moralities were to be avoided at all costs, and she even contemplated ways to remove him from their social circle if he persisted in causing harm to others.
