Just as Brandon savored this tidbit about Sienna, Allan, noticing Brandon's silence, pressed on with a fierce tone.

"I've liked Amanda for years, and I'll pursue her with my own determination. Let the man lurking behind you know I'm in for a fair contest—I won't be scared off by tricks."

For a moment, Brandon questioned if he had heard correctly, the important revelation having just surfaced. Unable to contain his curiosity, he asked, "Amanda?"

"Yes, Amanda Smith. What about her?"

"So, not Sienna Quinn," Brandon mused to himself, feeling a sudden relief. With a half-smile, he slipped his hands into his pockets and remarked, "I believe there's been a misunderstanding. I'm not acting for anyone's benefit. However, I do suggest you be more cautious about where you leave your love notes, lest they fall into the wrong hands."
