White specks

There wasn't much of a reaction from the Refining Crystal as I started refining it with the system's method.

After all, the system's method was not one that was flashy, but rather effective.

So even if the flames that I used to refine it were a bit flashy, the show that was put on wasn't that flashy at all.

After watching me refine for a bit, no one really seemed that interested in me. From the outside, the refining method that I used seemed normal, so it wasn't that interesting for them.

Though there were a few people that were surprised that I was able to refine it at all.

They knew that I had no experience with alchemy at all, so I shouldn't know how to refine this Refining Crystal. Only here I was refining it without a problem.

That either meant that I had some kind of help or I was some kind of genius.

They chose to believe the former rather than the latter since they knew my reputation as a prodigal.
