Kai could only watch helplessly as Malachar got closer to him, he couldn't move his body, but he was roaring in his mind.

Kai gritted his teeth, and as he kept doing his best to move his body, 'move you fucking body, mooovvee' he roared in his mind.

Malachar arrived in front of Kai; he looked at Kai's eyes, that was filled with unwillingness. "You are a worthy opponent. However, I won," Malachar stated before he raised his Saber up, aiming for Kai's neck.

Kai's eyes widened as he watched the Saber get closer to his neck, and many memories started appearing in his mind; he remembered when the beast attacked his village, taking away his parent life; he remembered all his journeys with Master Wu and Mei; he remembered his promise to return to Mei.

With all these memories flooding Kai's mind, he suddenly shuddered violently; a great will to resist and defy everything within Heaven and Earth emerged from his heart, a will to control his life and death.
