Before, the dark figure was ethereal; however, after Wuji channelled his whole energy into it without holding back, the figure's shape solidified, and a massive amount of dark energy erupted from the figure.

The sudden onset of darkness was shocking as it enveloped the entire region within seconds, almost resembling a natural catastrophe like an eclipse. The darkness was so complete that it prevented any light from penetrating the region, leaving only the stars on Kai's sabre to provide a glimmer of brightness amidst the inky blackness.

In the darkness, the figure behind Wuji let out a deafening roar that reverberated across the heavens. It then brandished a gigantic black spear, radiating ominous red energy, and hurled it towards Kai's massive sabre swing.
