Chapter 10.

Kai was not given any time to relax after killing one of them, the old man dagger arrived for his throat again, he quickly move his head sideways and the dagger pierced his shoulder, he groaned in pain and his eye turned bloodshot, he thrust his saber forward to pierce the old man head, but the old man was too fast, he quickly moved back.

Kai was in pain, and he couldn't relax, he quickly slash his saber backward, and a metallic sound rang out as his saber clash with a sword, the owner of the sword was forced backwards cause of the weight in Kai attack, Kai quickly follow him up to attack the man again cause he has lost his balance for a moment, so he doesn't want to waste the opportunity, but before he got close to the man, another attacks came from both sides, those men expect Kai to dodge the attack, but Kai expressions was now like a mad man, he ignore the attacks and slash his saber forward toward slicing the enemy in half, but he also paid a price, the two attack landed on him, and a loud metallic explosion rang out.

Kai was thrown flying away, he was in pain, but he quickly stood up, because another attack came from both the old man and the other expert stage man. the old man was the first to get close to him with his attack.

He parry, the old man's dagger with his saber, before he throws a punch to collide with the other man's sword attack.

Kai fist managed to stop the attack upon collision but still the sword managed to slice open his fist a little, blood started flowing out of his fist.

He ignored the pain and focused on the battle because now the others had caught up, and they started bombarding him with different attacks and energies.

He parries, slash, dodge. He makes use of all the training knowledge his master has impacted on him.

He fought vigorously against these eight men and he started killing the lower level men one by one, but he also did not remain unscathed, multiple large wounds are now present on his body, he was covered in blood from head to toes, but he still kept on fighting with a strong will.

Finally, after what seems like forever, Kai manages to kill seven of them, leaving only the old and the other expert of the same stage alive. But they also looked tired, and there were wounds on them.

The old man had a large wound on his chest, while the other man had one of his arms cut off.

Kai was using his saber to support himself to stand, he had no more strength, and all his body were numb, but his gaze remained fierce.

He watched as the old man and the man walked closer to him, he said nothing to them, but his eyes were filled with unwillingness.

" heheh, what a tough warrior you are, but still your life will end in my hand". The old man said as he walked closer to the standing Kai that can't do anything anymore but to stare.

"cultivators like you who fought against the odd, are the ones i dislike the most, do you all thing you are some kind of heroes?, also people like you lose their life before they grow". The old said in angry tone. " don't worry i will torture you slowly with multiple poison before i kill you, i will make sure to break that your spirit before sending you to hell". The old man said out loudly while he was laughing like a madman.

Upon getting closer to Kai, he brought out multiple daggers coated with different type of poison, he started to pierce Kai's body with these daggers, and in Kai eyes one could see that he is enduring a lot of pains, but he was not willing to scream, his gaze remain firm.

The old man snake poison was laughing, and taunting Kai as he kept piercing every part of his body with poisonous dagger, and all of Kai's body was now filled with holes and different colors of liquid was coming out from his wounds.

But still Kai did not utter a single sounds, and his gaze remain firmed, however this strong spirit of his only anger the old man more, and he started taking out more poison to torture him.

Suddenly, the sky above them turned dark, and a loud rumbling sound rang out from it, the energy flow of the region became disturbed, and it's like a huge storm was about to fall on them.

They all looked up, they saw a scene that they have never seen in their life before.

A woman with a tall and imposing stature, she had an angular face and eyes that glowed like molten gold. Her skin was beautiful pale white, etched with intricate patterns that seemed to writhe and pulse with a life of their own. She wore little clothing, save for a few tattered scraps of black fabric that fluttered ominously in the wind.

As she descended from the sky, the air around her thickened with a dark, malevolent energy. Beneath her feet, a swirling vortex of black clouds and lightning crackled with flashes of red, illuminating the skeletal swords that hung from her belt.

She arrived on the ground in a matter of seconds, and with each step she took, the ground trembled and cracked beneath her, as if unable to bear the weight of her presence. She appeared both alluring and horrific, with a beauty that was twisted and dark.

Upon seeing her, the old man screamed out loud " an immortal, she's a demon immortal". And their bodies started trembling, even Kai was shaken by the woman's terrifying aura.

The woman stopped a meter away from them, she gazed at Kai, " I liked your unyielding will, young man, and I saw the whole situation that happened here, tell me will you become my disciples?."

Kai became helpless upon hearing that, he couldn't help but thought to himself, " why do I always have the luck of stronger and mysterious people helping me in danger and the next thing they did was ask him to be their disciples, without considering his poor aptitude for cultivation".

He smiled helplessly at the woman's questions, " I'm sorry, great immortal, I already have a master, who raised me up and I can't betray him". He said helplessly .

"But your master is not here to save you, and moreover it's not a bad thing to have more than one master, so why not?" The woman asked again and this time his tone was cold.

Kai frowned seeing the change of altitudes in the woman all caused, he did not agree to her request, " I'm sorry to disappoint you great Immortal, but I already promised my master not to have any other master again in this life, maybe in my next life i can agree". Kai also replied and his tone carries no emotions.

The woman looked at Kai for a moment, and it's like all of Kai secret were all presented to her, she suddenly divert her attention to the old man and the other man who was now trembling in fear, sweat cover them from head to toe, and upon sensing the woman cold gaze the second man tremble so much that he pissed his pant.

The woman immediately felt disgusted and she waved her hand toward the both of them. Immediately both the old man and the man felt something heavy slam on them, they did not have the chance to scream before they were erased from the world.

Kai was surprised at the way the woman killed them, he thought in his mind, " how powerful, so this is the power of an immortal".

Suddenly kai felt so much pain, his body finally reached its limit and all the poison acted up, causing him immense pains, he couldn't hold on anymore so he fainted immediately.

The woman looked at the fainted Kai, " such a powerful and mysterious body, even I can't see through his body completely, moreover he doesn't have any cultivation roots."

The woman sigh gently, before she walked closer to Kai. A golden pill with red runes carved around it appeared in her hand, then she opened Kai's mouth, fed him the pill before she placed her palm on his chest.

She use her energy to help Kai dissolve the pills, merging the energies in every part of his body's, which forced the poison out of him, then she used her energy to vaporize the blood and the poison outside his body, immediately Kai body was cleanse and healed, Kai was now sleeping peacefully.

The woman stared at Kai's handsome face for a while. She can feel that Kai is now sleeping peacefully. She shook her head gently before she wrapped Kai up with her energy and she took flight in the air, while Kai was floating behind her as she walked deeper into the demonic forest.
