The doctor's words rang in Alexander's ears, "What?" Both of his palms were on his head, pulling his hair, trying to put two and two together as the news was shocking to him. Moments ago, he was worried about his wife passing out in the car, but now? To lose a child like this really shook him. He fell on his knees and didn't exactly know how he felt. Was it sorrow, despair, or rage? One thing he knew for sure was that it was devastatingly painful.
He punched the floor in regret and hoped that all this was just a nightmare. However, the throbbing pain on his fist suggested that this was very real. He gathered up strength and stood up.
"I'm sorry but don't both of you know about that?" The doctor sincerely asked. She looked like she was in her late 20's, wearing a white coat with a name that reads 'Jasmine'.
