Throwback:The Mouth to Mouth Antidote

Natrine! I kept on calling but didn't get any reply. Fuck I won't spare the engineers,I groaned.The speed of the elevator started to increase bit by bit but I made sure Natrine wasn't hurt,I knew she couldn't bear the heat and discomforts. Somehow, no one had ever spoken to me the way she did even my birth parents didn't dare to but she was one in a million which makes her unique.

Ka..ka..ka..ka..ka..,the elevator started to give sounds then it took a very high speed then crashed.Blood oozed out of my head and also my legs but I had to be strong.

After the crash,the elevator stopped suddenly and a suffocating smoke started to smell,I guessed the elevator wanted to explode.It kept on increasing but I didn't give up.I pushed against the door and tried to open it but it was on auto lock.The smoke started to fill my brain and soon I started to feel dizzy but seeing Natrine in pain gave me more concern.

I slowly sat on the floor and started to feel more dizzy till the elevator opened with the help of the engineers.

"Sir we are so sorry,the engineers said facing me".

Just.be quiet and help her out,I managed to reply them by gnashing my teeth.

Get the first aid,I shouted as soon as I got out of the elevator.

" Cross is there any personnel on seat",I asked in a displeased manner.

"No sir,they are all on shift"

Seriously is this how things go on here,I exclaimed. Someone should call a doctor before she dies.

"On it sir,they replied.

I fixed my gaze on the beautiful face lying in my arms.I placed her gently on the multipurpose sofa and started to check her pulse which seemed to have dropped. Her breathing wasn't normal and I couldn't hear her heartbeat .

My heartbeat suddenly increased because I only thought of one thing and that is,"She is dead"

"Sir,a voice said"

I looked back and thank goodness it was a personnel.

No formalities right now just treat her,I said with an icy glare.

Yes sir,the personnel replied and started to check her breathing, heartbeat and many important info he needs.

Soon I heard his voice again,

Sir,am afraid she has been gone for too long so she has to be taken to the Intensive care unit(ICU)for proper checkup and am so sorry I forgot some important equipments while I was rushing down here.

"Mr Smith,I think you don't want this job again,how could you forget a lifesaving machine just get out", I shouted.

Pl..please sir ..but..but..there is one way we can save her before she receives proper treatment.

" Spit it out,I shouted again"

Sir we need someone who can give her air through her mouth with their mouth.

"What's all this mouth just hit the jackpot you are wasting every minute"

Sir we need a mouth to mouth antidote to cure her.
