Even before Vessel opened his eyes, he felt a light breeze brush past his face. Hearing the

sound of birds chirping and the trees whistling in the wind. He finally opened his eyes to find out

he has been transported to the middle of a forest.

"It actually feels like I am here with my real body, and this feeling is intoxicating to say the least."

said Vessel with the brightest smile he's made in a decade.

"Now, where do I begin? And where do I go? What are the controls?" As Vessel was pondering

these questions, players were spawning all around him. Some were just like him, while others

just started dashing forward as though they already have everything all figured out.

As if the game was giving them time to take everything in, Cream started to chime in.

[Cream: Vessel, welcome to Seedling Island, one of the many places where players from

around the world begin their journey. To start off lets begin with your status, and to view your

status all you have to do is say status. Simple right?] said in a semi-transparent text bubble on

the top left portion of my vision.

A window suddenly popped up in front of his eyes with a classic [x] mark on the top right to turn

"Ah, the classic "leafstory" status page with a mix of ones from "leafstory 2" said with a satisfying

look on Vessel face. As he was viewing his status the place where he was at became emptier

and emptier. Until without him realizing it, he was the only one left in the area.

It was only just now Vessel started to view his equipments. "Equipment" said Vessel

Weapon: Wooden Sword: 1-3 attack (weapon description a lightweight wooden sword with a

pointy edge)

"Cream, are there any skills currently available for beginners?"

[Cream: Yes, all beginners starts out with the same 4 basic skills, as you level up you gain 1 skill

point for each level until level 10. Your current useable skill points: 1]

Thinking out loud to himself, "I wonder if there is any way to gain beyond 10 skill points or

additional stat points."

Unexpectedly Cream chimed in [Cream: Yes, additional skill and stat points could be obtained

from completing hidden quest, achievements, and doing certain things first in certain areas.]

Vessel who was minding his own business, was startled at the revelation. "What did you just

say?!" [Cream: additional skill and stat points could be obtained from completing.........

areas.]

"This is something new that I did not expect, before in ''leafstory" and "leafstory 2" everyone had

the same chances of getting the same amount of stats and skill points for their characters

regardless which class was chosen." Wondering to himself Vessel thought " I wonder how many

people actually went and ask their guides these questions, before heading off to town to start

doing quest so they can level faster."

Out of nowhere a certain thought entered Vessel's mind, immediately asking "Cream, can we

create our own skills as well?"

[Cream: Yes, but certain conditions must be met for a skill to be created. All created skills will

have a max level of 1, and will be located in a custom skill tab, on the skills page. Once one

created a skill the said skill can be automatically activated when said actions are performed.

The game's Artificial intelligence will assign a mana cost and increase damage to said skill. But

of course if you perform the actions yourself it will only cost what you spent on it with the

damage added as 1+1 =2. If using the skill with the assisted help from the game the damage

can be calculated as [1.25(1+1)]= 2.5 but with additional cost of mana.]

"This is big news, the degree of freedom thus far in the game is vastly greater than anything I

could have imagined. Perfect 3 dimensional movement in space, realism of the environment;

such as the wind in your face, gravity that pushes against your body, and the light coming from

the sun. At this point I wouldn't even be surprised if people started taking vacations here." said

Vessel also thought to himself "This as well? I really do wonder how many people went into this

game thinking they would be playing a regular mmorpg. When in fact the depth is so much

greater than meets the eye."

"Oh right, my skills, I still haven't even viewed them yet" Vessel just facesmack himself

[Active skill: Increases movement speed by 1% for each level Duration 30 seconds Cooldown

[Active skill: Increases attack and magic attack by 1% for each level Duration 30 seconds

[Passive skill: Increases item drop rate and Aeso by 1% for each level]

[Cream: Hey, hey in order to use said active skills there are 2 ways of going about it, by saying

the skill name, or by performing the corresponding actions. Pressing on the skill will show you

what to do. You can toggle between the two ways of performing the skill. Oh, I forgot to add that

male and female characters have different stances. ]

Vessel pressed on the skill Enrage it showed the skill activeing with a horse stance and when

pressing on the skill for Sprint it showed a figure holding a running stance.

Very eagerly to test things, Vessel added the only skill point he had into Enrage.

Enrage: level 1, +1% attack and magic attack duration 30 seconds MP: 10 Cooldown 60

seconds

Next Level 2, +2% attack and magic attack duration 30 seconds MP: 10 Cooldown 57seconds

"Eh, does this mean that maybe at max level I can use this skill infinitely as long as I have

enough mana points? Anyways forget about that for now, it is time."

In the empty area he was currently in Vessel got into position. "HA!" he cried as he got into a

horse stance. He felt a slight gust of wind coming out from within him. He knew he had

succeeded but the icon on the top right of his view showed that as well.

Suddenly a new player spawned in the area that Vessel was in. She saw him posing in the

horse stance chuckling at him she left. " Ah, how embarrassing but that young lady will know it

soon enough." saying that with a blush expression on Vessel's face.

"This is taking forever, hey Cream is there a way to show all the command list at once?"

[Cream: Just say "System Command List" seedling Vessel.]

[Mini Map, item bag, guild, buddy chat,......"web browser explorer".......... Log out]

As Vessel was reading through the list of commands one caught his eyes [Web browser

explorer]! "I can use the internet while I am playing this Virtual Reality game.That means I can

do my part time job while gaming! Just how great is that! I can even read the forums,watch

videos and see the current rankings online. " thought Vessel.

"Open explorer, search up the current rankings of Acornstory… Highest current player Tiger[1]

level 4, FangBlade[1] level 4 and other top ranking players from other regions level 4...…"

Vessel with a blank face "No way, it can't be... there is just no way… The legends from

"Leafstory" are they really back?"

"They are already all level 4 and what level am I? Dammit, I am still level 1, how long have I

been wasting my time?"

[Cream: Player has been on for 4 hours 23mins]

" I wasted 2+ hours reading this stuff?!" though it wasn't really a waste, since those that didn't

go through the proper procedures, wouldn't have understood the nature of the game as well as

those that have.

Looking to his right, to his left, and his back he discovered that he was the only one left in this

area. Vessel rush off looking for a monster to kill
