I am Comet (Chapter 14)

As we were bracing for impact, Lukas asks me and Sal to share our mana with him.

hearing that request put me in a tough spot and I blacked out for a moment, thinking of a way to transfer mana to Lukas without being suspicious. I remember back when Marth was teaching me about magic tools, how I manipulated the mana around me to feed(power up) the tool, using the same concept I channel mana into Lukas, as I feel the mana going to him, I start to see that his mana reserves are going up.

Lukas starts chanting what he called a great magic, but for some reason I feel like part of me is connected to the spell, I feel like I understand some parts of the magic runes that appear, like 「accelerate」「vector」and 「launch」.

as the spell takes form I see a giant rock form above us which then is set ablaze. after the initial part was formed I saw the 「launch」and 「vector」pushing the blazing rock towards the enemy,and as it starts moving, multiples of 「accelerate」runes appear in its way, as the rock crashes through the runes it makes a sound similar to glass braking, instantly you could see the blazing rock get faster and faster, after going through each and every one of the 「accelerate」runes in the sky.

As the blazing rock picks up speed, it heads towards the ever advancing stampede. I watch in amazement as the giant rock heats up the air around it and crashes in to the middle of the enemies, almost half of the stampede was obliterated from the impact, yet the massacre didn't end there, the heat radiating from the rock was so high that anything close enough to the impact exploded from the water vaporizing in their bodies, and those that were further away were set on fire.

I watch, my heart pounding, adrenaline rushing through my brain.The great magic has set my heart ablaze just like my foes.

As Lukas falls to the ground from mental, physical and magical exhaustion, I am filled with desire to fight! a desire for war!

Activating 「Lunge」「Shadow Step」whilst using my surrounding mana to create the 「accelerate」「vector」and 「launch」runes around me, I use my 「Space Mana Affinity」to create voids in front of me to create a temporary suction and instantly delete them after gaining speed.

[have you ever seen a Railgun firing, Mir?] I remember my dad's words when I was a kid,

[Have you seen the War Machines humanity have created that could accelerate objects to unimaginable speeds?]

[Capable to destroy millions of lives in less than a second, and all you see from the Railgun is a brilliant light capable of even piercing heavens]

[How can something so beautiful, be so...soo destructive] beautiful, that was all he could say about a war machine... at the time I didn't understand him, but now.

Sal was ready to take aim too use an AOE attack towards the stragglers, leaving only the big guys for Zach and Maika, when he heard a chuckle from behind him, which then turned into a blood curdling laughter.

As he was about to look behind him, A blinding Light like nothing he had seen before erupted from behind leading to the horizons to where the enemy stampede was.

All sound stopped, the world went quite, for a second it felt like an eternity passed. A blinding light making it seem like the sun went into a supernova, and then there stood a man in the nothingness that previously was a monster parade near a mountain range.

He was completely unharmed ( except for his clothes) standing, face up with tears streaming down his face...
