Episode 43- A Person that I Love...
"We have arrived in front of our room. Let's hurry up and put our daughters. They have been up all day because of us having to get up early and fight our battles."
Tenka opened the door, and the two walked into the room with their daughters in their arms. They were walking towards the bed that had black blankets. It was the vast room that they were previously in, it was the room that he designated them to go to. His daughters were still young, and they liked sleeping with their parents, so he didn't have any reason to give them their separate rooms yet.
All the rooms were the same size as his room, so the castle was humongous, and the main room could fit over seven thousand people at once.
"I already know that but should make our daughters get up when we get up, they are kids. Shouldn't they be sleeping in and having as much fun as they possibly can… when all these battles are going on, it kind of seems like we are taking their childhood years away from them. At the moment, we are unable to spend time with them all the time, so we can't really go out."
Shito shook his head before looking at the bed that was in front of his face, he placed his daughter onto the bed, tucking her in so she could sleep comfortably. As he started to tuck in his daughter, she was tucking in their other daughter, Illya Mahinu, getting her nice and comfortable.
He looked around the room and started to walk towards a window that was covered by grey curtains. The curtains were woven from a fragrant silky material, providing a pleasant, rosy scent. The curtain was long and smooth, and the curtains reached the ground. Every single window that was present in the room was directed with gray curtains of the same material. His favorite color was gray and black so that's why most of the time he wore black clothes.
Shito opened the curtains—revealing a beautifully decorated balcony that was the same chromatic color as his Tenka's eyes. Materials of the highest quality were used to make the balcony, the materials that were used were galaxy stones, the best metal in the world.
After staring outside the window, he opened the window and walked outside onto the balcony. Rails were in place to keep people from falling off, so he was protected while he was standing on the balcony.
"The wind feels so good, come on out here so you can experience this feeling with me, I guarantee that you are going to love this feeling."
His hair was still tied up, but suddenly the object that was holding his hair up disappeared. Magic was used to make the band that he was wearing in his head, and he only wanted it in his head for a couple of hours. The spell he used to change his clothes was a spell that took the objects he owned in the house and exchanged them for the ones he had on.
Of course, he could create clothes if he wanted to, but he didn't like doing all of that because he wouldn't have anywhere to put all his clothes. Yes, the castle was big enough to store his clothes but having too many clothes that he doesn't wear would be stupid.
Tenka walked out on the balcony, standing beside the beautiful boy, his flaxen hair was blowing in the wind and the moonlight made the sight look even more outstanding.
"You know… You are a beautiful-looking man. Your hair looks even smoother than that of any woman that I have ever met, why is that?" Tenka asked, curiously. She was a woman, and she wanted to know why a boy's hair looked better than hers.
"Magic is what I use to maintain my hair to perfect condition. With magic, I don't need to use anything or for that matter take a shower because my body cleans itself every day. Mana is also around my clothes so they can never get dirty."
Looking up at the stars, Shito turned his head towards the beautiful woman who was standing beside him. Time was ticking and they had to go to bed because they had to go to school the next morning. Taking a shower was something that he had no need for, but Tenka had to take a shower because she didn't have the ability to do the same things he could.
But was there a practical reason that he didn't teach her that skill? The reason was good reason that he didn't do so, and it was because girls liked to take their time to get ready, and she was a mother so she would want to take baths with her daughters sometimes. That was something she would love to do as their mother and finding out you don't need to take a shower would probably take the joy of doing it.
Most mages went out of their way to learn this skill, mostly because of doing research, but if the skill wasn't needed no one ever learned the skill because taking a shower felt better to do than having your body clean itself. Shito sometimes took a shower himself, but most times he was too busy, so he didn't take a shower.
…. Huh, I guess it's time for us to go to bed now. We have school tomorrow so standing around on this balcony is going to—...
Suddenly a familiar feeling could be felt on the lips of Shito, a warm feeling that he knew too well. He could feel the gentle lips of the girl that was standing beside him overlapping with his own.
A dizzy sensation attacked his brain. Even though he had felt the feeling before it was a little different than before. Kissing under the beautiful sky was the feeling that filled his body, but there was another feeling that made him feel enraptured by the act.
Following that, Shito pulled his face head back to put some destine between the two of them.
Tenka looked at his face, noticing the light rosy tint that was covering his cheeks. She couldn't remember if she had seen it before but intuitively knew that he was blushing from the kiss that he received.
"My, my is the expressionless Shito blushing because of a kiss?"
Shito looked at the woman and his cheeks were still slightly tinted, "I am… is there a problem with that?" He was as blunt as possible, and he was not embarrassed to say it out loud.
"Why are you not embarrassed to say that out loud? Are you, not embarras—"
The rosy tint that was covering his cheeks disappeared, and he calmly looked at the girl that was in front of him, "I don't need to be embarrassed sharing the kiss with a person that I love." Shito's tone of voice was stern, showing that he was completely serious.
He was a completely serious person and he never lied about anything in his life… no he had never lied to any of his loved ones in his life. So, every single word that came out of his mouth was the truth or sometimes might be part of the truth if he decided to leave out parts of the truth.
Tenka's face turned completely red. It was as if her head was going to burst into flames, and the words 'the person I love' were constantly replaying in her head causing her to walk inside the room in a hurry.
"I–... I will talk to you tomorrow, but let's go to bed now we have school tomorrow."
She was clearly embarrassed, but she was trying to hide that by walking away from him in a hurry. Even though they really had to go to bed soon she used that as a way to hide anything she was feeling at the moment. Of course, she had feelings towards him but that was not the time for them to do anything yet, after all, she wanted to know a couple more things about him before they got into a committed relationship. They had children together, but they didn't really know much about each other.
Looking at the girl walking away from him in a hurry, Shito walked inside the castle, after all, they had to go back to school the next day.
"Well, we can hurry to bed right now… we have school tomorrow and our daughters already have to be up when we leave, so we going to have to take the time to get them ready too."
Arriving in front of the bed, the two lay down on the bed, ready to go to bed. The twins were lying in between their parents and Tenka was facing away from Shito, looking at the curtains that were in her line of sight.
O-oh my gosh…! Oh my gosh….! He said he loved me! This night couldn't have been any better!
Those were the thoughts of Tenka as she lay on the bed. She was still embarrassed by the words that he had spoken to her before.
Turning her head around, she looked at Shito and noticed that his eyes were closed. It was clear that he was peacefully sleepy. The moment he got into bed he used magic to put himself to sleep because if he hadn't, he would've been up for the whole night. Of course, he could fall asleep on his own but using magic was a nanosecond faster, and he would rather take the faster way to get things done.
Tenka sat up on the bed and looked over at Shito, she leaned over her daughter, quickly kissing him on the forehead. "Goodnight… have sweet dreams," she said in a soft tone as she moved back to her side of the bed.
With that, she lay back down and closed her eyes, and after a couple of minutes, she fell asleep. Being tired was the reason for her going to sleep so fast, they had been up since seven in the morning, so they had to be up and ready in a couple of hours.
