First Term: Cabin Fever

July's POV:

We decided to walk up to one of the benches and sit down.

"Listen July I'm sorry." Tammy started after we both calmed a little.

"Sorry? What are you sorry for?" I was surprised.

"About not noticing it. How much you wanted to go to that dance with me." She continued.

I simply shook my head, "No need to be. It is just a silly dance after all. I know you love me and I also know you don't particularly like Christmas. Me expecting you to get out of your way and ask me to go was a stupid idea. I should have just told you about it earlier, so we can talk it through."

"It would have helped. But I still could have noticed it myself. After you decided to not join in all the merriment of it all I just assumed falsely that you didn't want to go yourself." Tammy explained.

"Well, I didn't want to annoy you either by trying to convince you to go just for my sake. If anything I wanted us both to have fun there." I went to explain and rested one hand on Tammy's thigh.
