The letter I received from the prince was an invitation to have a deal regarding our engagement. He wants to accumulate greater power so that the nobles who are not in favor of him won't stand a chance to make the unknown first prince compete for the throne.

The poor First prince in the book didn't even experience celebrating his coming-of-age ceremony.

Sighing, I look at the crown prince waiting for my answer. He seems confident that I will say yes to his proposal.

'I'm not the Rina who loves you, jerk'

"giving me a position of a royal concubine?" smirking, I crossed my hands.

"Isn't that enough? You know very well who I like to be my empress"

Do you think of me as a tool to gain power?! I laughed at him. So much laughing that he glared at me with confusion.

"Hahaha, your highness is so funny!" I gently wipe the tears I have because of laughing too much.

"You! How dare you to laugh at me!!"

"Isn't it normal for people to laugh if they heard something funny?" I smiled brightly at him but he continue blabbering. If only Rina knew how to use magic, I'll shut the prince's mouth right now. Why don't I learn from my brother? I should tell him later when I go home.

My eyes caught a person in a green dress hiding in the bushes. To think that she will stay here, should I give her a bit of a surprise? Flory, Flory, the book described you as kind, bright almost like a perfect person but right now, you're shamelessly glaring as if ready to kill me.

I grin as I thought of an excellent plan for this situation.

I stood up and slowly come closer to the crown prince. My lips inch away from him but kissing him is not my plan. In my peripheral vision, I can see Flory's reaction. Biting her nails, her eyes narrowed. I made it look like I am kissing the crown prince in Flory's view.

"y-you what are you doing?" I stare at the crown prince, caressing his cheeks as I whisper to his ear the words that will make him dumbfounded.

"let's cancel the engagement" after I said those words, I immediately distance myself away from him. I put the flower I picked before on the table.

A cyclamen flower means separation. Perfect for this event huh?

"your highness, thank you for inviting me. I had fun with our conversation. Well then..." I paused for a moment, looking at him in the eyes.

"let's not cross each other again," I said softly almost like a whisper, bow courteously, and walks out of the greenhouse leaving him speechless.

It was fun seeing their expressions.
