17. End Of Entrance Examination

Lucifer said as he looked at the corpse of another participant who was struck by lightning.

*BAM*

'God just when will he stop'

Looking at the sound of explosions that is annoying him for the past thirty minutes he complained in his mind.

After Lucifer killed Flora he stopped his offence on other participants and instead saved his mana for the future where he may have any need to defend himself.

He has already secured his spot in the top 10 and as for being number one is kind of impossible for him.

As he looked at the small mushroom clouds from the top of a tree he saw the clouds shining brightly with a holy aura.

'Here it comes'

Lucifer looked at the clouds forming a circular opening and a giant sword made up of golden light slowly descended towards the centre of the island where a lesser red dragon was tied with golden chains and was crying in the agony as the dragon watched his doom coming closer to him.

The sword made up of golden light hit the dragon causing an explosion massive enough to destroy the whole island.

Lucifer closed his eyes awaiting his death but felt nothing.

'Is it over'

He thought about opening his eyes and saw an unbelievable scene in front of him.

The giant pillar of light producing a blinding flash was stopped still in front of him, he looked at the side and saw the leaves of the forest nearby all around him were floating in the air while being still as if the time had paused.

"Wha-"

Lucifer opened his mouth and wanted to say something but before he could voice out what he wanted to say he stopped, his whole body started to sweat and his throat fell extremely dry.

He felt someone's presence behind him but couldn't bring enough courage to move around to look who it was.

The presence it gave off was something unfathomable, Lucifer tightly held his breath scared as if, if he took a breath too the figure will kill him in no time.

"You know nah"

A melodious feminine voice rang behind him, it was soothing and gentle but for Lucifer it sounded like the voice of the death itself.

*Gulp*

Lucifer gulped and tried to relax his mind but before he could the figure once again said a few more words which made him lose his calm.

"A soul from another world i see,.....Lucifer Mors.. I will remember that name"

Hearing her words which slowly faded away, Lucifer completely lost his cool, his eyes went wide and took a deep breath, he was ready to turn around to see the figure behind him but before he could, the paused time was once again resumed.

The explosion occurred and the blinding flash enveloped Lucifer's body along with the whole island killing everyone present on the island.

For the past half an hour or so the screen showed only one fight without changing, It all started as soon as the screen showed the person who was trending over the whole past year, the second ever recorded light element awakener Alexander Lionheart.

Alexander was the one who discovered a grade 5 beast that too a lesser red dragon and fought with it all by himself, the handsome man with blonde hair and golden eyes now had completely changed to a person with half of his body and face completely and cut all over his naked upper body.

His heroic image burnt in everybody's mind who watched him protecting a wounded girl from the dragon and fighting it back.

Everyone saw how hard he tried and numerous other participants also jumped in the middle of the battle but all died leaving Alex/Alexander to fight alone.

At the last the hero whom everyone saw was on the verge of his defeat when he somehow managed to use his last card.

"The Judgement Of The Light"

Making the chains made up of light condensed out of the thin air and binding the dragon at the one place, a giant sword made up of Light descended from the heavens creating a massive explosion killing everyone on the island in a blink of an eye marking the end of the most iconic battle in the history of the Scheld Academy.
