12. Start Of The Examination

After the day of ceremony Lucifer and Selena left the campus since the rooms were yet to be allocated as they haven't yet become the students of the academy.

The next day, all the students once again gathered at the auditorium and they weren't the only ones, the second and third year students as well as teachers, guests and media were present as well.

All the first years were standing on the dais with Lucifer and Selena at the back of the crowd observing everyone.

Soon the vice dean's figure could be seen descending from the sky and stood in the air with a giant red crystal twice his own size floating in front of him.

"This is one of the three illusion crystals excavated from the ancient ruins and owned by the Scheld Academy, students most of you have tried the virtual reality pod for combat training but this is completely different from what you've experienced in it"

"Once the crystal shines everyone will be transported into the illusion space where you will all be teleported at a random location"

"Your match will be observed by everyone in the world and once you get eliminated you will be teleported back to the auditorium"

"Inside the space no weapons or equipment are allowed to carry, you will all enter the space with no weapons of your own, the test duration will be of 3 hours and you all have to do your best to survive and eliminate others"

The red crystal shone brightly and with a flash all the participants were all transported to the illusion space and the vice dean returned went to his seat.

A holographic projection appeared on the dais monitoring thousands of students where everyone spawned on the same island surrounded by water, participants were spawning at different locations, some in the forest, while some on the cliffs, some even spawned in waters and dropped from the sky.

Due to unfavorable spawning locations a few of them died as soon as they spawned and reappeared back on the dais and started crying.

Once everyone inside the spawn was settled they began hunting different monsters and other participants to gain points.

"This time a lot of talents have appeared in the academy"

A teacher muttered as he spoke to the vice dean.

"Yeah, this time many good seedlings have appeared and many of them hold rare elements"

"Too bad dean didn't seem to be interested in this, there is a kid with lightning element too this time, i am sure if she was here she would just take him in as her disciple"

"not only lightning but holders plant and light elements are also present this time"

"It would be the first time all of these three rare elements appearing all together"

The teachers and the vice dean discussed with each other while looking at the screen in front of them and listening to the commentators and announcer's updates on the scoreboard.
