Chapter 18: Tournament Part 5: The Eyes of Chronos

Sul stood on the other end of the arena looking back at him was Jimmy, "you have ruined my clothing, forever shall there be a hole in the middle of my uniform. I'll make you pay for this. " Jimmy says

Jimmy vanished, Sul looked behind him then above before jumping to the side as Jimmy rose from the ground with his dagger. Sul then kicks him while he was still going up. Jimmy skids a few feet away from Sul.

'His reaction time… his speed it increased.' Isaiah thinks to himself

[Flashback]

Sul and Vil were standing in an open yard no one, but them was present. They both got in a stance and began a spar.

[5 mins later]

Sul and Vil both collapsed from exhaustion. The area around them though had become a huge crater.

"Sul this ability of our's, it's pretty dangerous not only that, it's very exhausting as well. I don't think we should use it in the tournament" Vil says.

"If we can't use it in battle then how are we supposed to win?. Remember there will be sixth years there as well." Sul says.

Vil didn't care about the sixth years as they were minor details to him.

"Sul the only person capable of knowing about this power is Isaiah and we haven't even told him yet." Vil says. Sul looked at him and knew he was right. "So what are you saying we should never use this ability again?" Sul asks.

"That's not what I'm saying what I'm saying is we can use this as our trump card." Vil replied. Sul still had a look of questions in his eyes. "If we save this up till the end no one will know what hit em. Plus people like Isaiah will find counters to the abilities, should we show them during the first act. Hence why I told you to keep this power from him." Vil explains.

"That makes a whole lot of sense," Sul replied. "Well then just to make sure you honor our agreement how about we do this. I won't use mine until you give me your permission." Vil says. "Mmmmm, ok fine deal, but in that case I won't use mine either without your's" Sul replied

[present time]

"No way, there's no way… Sul is actually keeping up with him" Isaiah says out loud as his eyes are wide open.

Jimmy and Sul continue sending clashes for 30 seconds as Jimmy bearly dodged Sul's heavy, energy compressed punches, and Sul dodged his sharp and deadly blades.

They both jump away from eachother as they try to catch their breaths.

"That Sul he really indeed has come so far" mrs Kan compliments.

"Yes and it was all thanks to my guidance" Mr Phil replied.

"Yeah it was all thanks to yo-…. Wait hold up one second." Mrs Kan stops "I have no idea what drug your on but It was due to my teachings that he was able to get strong." Mrs Kan boasts. "What do you mean your's? I taught him how to survive through a volcano terrain." Mr Phil argued.

"Well I thought him how to control his energy to one part of his body." Mrs Kan argued back. "Well it's because of my tough training that he was able to learn from you and use quick foot work." Mrs Phil said.

Both Mr Phil and Mrs Kan had an electric spark going through their heads

"Wait did he say running through. Volcanic terrain?" Vm of squad 5 asked. The principle just seemed to roll his eyes then focus on the battle.

[back to the arena]

"This battle is getting very intense Jimmy from the Haku clan fighting a peasant and actually getting pushed back This "Sul" what ever his name is has some great skills especially those fists, his control may be a little deformed, but nothing a little more practice couldn't fix." Kayla said out loud. "Isn't that right Isaiah?" She says. Isaiah gave her a stink eye and then focused back to the battle.

"I guess someone's still salty that I told the truth about him no one liking him". Kayla says

"Sul you have done well to be standing this long… but this is as far as you go. Your only downfall was me being your opponent." Isaiah confidentially said. Sul said nothing as they continued their stare. They moved slowly towards each other to prepare for round two of their clash

Jimmy had a wide smirk he stabbed the ground with his longer weapon. He held the smaller one vertically in his hands. Turning it sideways and holding the bottom with both his palms joined together. "2nd form" Jimmy says, closing his eyes in the process. A green glow surrounds him as a huge amount of energy released from within him. All the energy that surrounded Jimmy began getting absorbed by his eyes. Once all the energy got settled, Jimmy opened his eyes slowly. Everyone even the vibe masters leaned closer in anticipation of what was going to happen.

Once his eyes fully opened everyone had shocked faces.

"Those eyes" The vibe master of squad 6 said.

Isaiah and Kayla were also shocked. Vil just witnessed the action being the only one unfazed.

Jimmy's eyes had a weird pattern. His eyes were no longer similar to a normal human, but was more similar to a clock. "Little lines could be seen in his iris. And in the center of the lines, his pupil was taking the place of the needle that moved the short hands and long hands of a clock, with both hands facing different directions.

"Behold, The eyes of Chronos." Jimmy says.

Sul had a face full of disgust. "What in the hell your eye balls looking more deformed than Vil's personality." Sul Insultes. a spark went through Vil's head as Sul said this. Vil looked over to Isaiah who was snickering and trying to compose himself.

"HOW DARE YOU DISRESPECT THE EYES OF TIME, YOU WILL PAY WITH EVERLASTING SUFFERING" Jimmy screams charging at Sul.

"I already handled you once, don't think just cause you got some freaky eyes you will defeat me." Sul says as he reaches his arm forward and a sword emerged from what seemed to be a ring of fire. Sul held the sword infront of him charging it with his vibe energy ready to attack.

Jimmy got within range and Sul swung down.

"I GOT YOU NOW" Sul says. Jimmy smirked and. A cloud of dust emerged from Their clash.

"Did Sul get him?" Kayla asked.

Everyone leaned closer than before to witness what had happened. The dust cleared a bit and Sul's figure could be seen

"Sul you-" Isaiah stops the dust cleared completely as Isaiah's eyes open wide seeing Jimmy's dagger going through Sul's palm. Jimmy stood behind Sul who was in disbelief.

"With the eyes of Chronos, I can see things related to time that no one normally would, one of the abilities is to move time slowly, everything besides me moves slower. See that Sul? This ability will be your downfall." Jimmy says.
