The beginning of the trip
The news of the trip has reached Paula.
She was currently packing up some stuff while relying on the help of the technology born out of her husband's powers. It was just a few sets of clothes and some minor stuff going straight to the baggage.
Then, the voice reached out for Paula from behind.
"Do you need my help?"
It was Sylvie whose baggage was already prepared. The thought of the baggage being ready for the journey held a lot of meanings, so Sylvie didn't expose this fact out loud. Instead, she approached Paula slowly, then just began passing all the prepared stuff from the other side of the bed.
Of course, Paula didn't need help, but a helping hand just made things go faster.
The ladies stood close to each other with the silence surrounding them.
It was then.
"What's on your mind, Sylvie? Are you worried about the trip?"
"Yes... Are fine with me tagging along?"
"Why?"
