Ch16 Smokescreen

"Just one simple job and you had to fuck it up!" She shouted banging the table in frustration.

"Why are you so useless?!" She asked again grabbing Ciara by the collar as she kissed her violently. She released her from the violent kiss and lit a cigarette. Ciara stood dumb with a flushed face unsure of what to say.

"Just to fucking kiss him like I did to you now! Just to seduce him! Is he really that difficult?" She asked blowing directly on Ciara's face.

"I tried but that bitch just keeps getting in the way." Ciara finally replied exhaling deeply not to choke on her thick smoke fog.

"Fine! Then just make sure he gets married to him. Although it can't distract him it'll be our little show." She said smiling dangerously tracing Ciara's jawline with her red painted nails.

"I made him promise but I don't think it's a good idea now." Ciara replied in a low tone.

"Use your brain to a hundred percent dumb ass! You're not really getting married. We abduct Hano and lure him into a big and beautiful trap. You're just a joker in the card game. Just a distraction." She explained smoking outside the window.

"What?! You promised you'd get him for me!" Ciara shouted puzzled.

"Hold your wild horses. Is is dick so great that you want it that bad? To me, power is more important than men. I would've achieved a lot in your shoes if I were not as focused on men as you were." She replied drinking a cup of whiskey.

"Look, just stop this and do what I asked you to ok." Ciara said back folding her arms.

"You'll get what you want once I'm done with him - He wouldn't even have an option." She concluded trying to control her drunken state.

"What's going on Rey? You shouldn't have been that harsh. And why the fuck do you have to do what she says?" Hano fired at Rey in the living room.

"Look, I can't even wake up without you now. I just found out the only reason I'm going crazy these days is you. I feel stupid enough already. Just let her do her thing. I promise it's not bad I just want you safe. Lay low and let me do my things." Rey replied grabbing Hano by the wrist.

"You sound sincere but that doesn't cut it. I want you to be safe too. Presidency sounds nice but I don't want it to come with pain." Hano said calming down.

"It's safe Hano. Just do you. Right now I want to find out who is behind Ciara, she wouldn't just do that without having a tough backup. She knows what you can do to her." Rey replied walking towards his study.

"You're going to work again?" Hano asked with sad eyes.

"Yeah. Whoever that backup is, they sure have some nasty plan and I'm sure they're using Ciara as a pawn piece in a game of chess only that she can be a wild card too." Rey replied sitting on his chair as he powered his laptop.

**He always does what he wants anyways. He doesn't even have time to spend with me.**Hano thought going to the room. An unidentified number called and Hano picked it up hesitantly.

"Hello." The caller started.

"Yeah, who are you?" Hano asked immediately.

"Just a friendly tip, the wedding will turn just into a massive funeral. Get out while you can." The caller replied ending the call.

**What in the world?** Hano thought staring at the unknown number.

"Who was that?" Rey asked out of the blue.

"What the fuck?!" Hano exclaimed surprised.

"Why were you eavesdropping!?" She shouted again breathing heavily.

"I was just interested nothing more." Rey replied calmly walking into the room with his hands in his pockets.

"Uhmmm..... About the wedding." Hano started after fidgeting.

'What about it?" Rey asked sitting on the bed crossing his leg.

"I mean..... I'm worried something might go wrong." She replied doubtful of what the unknown caller told her.

"Relax. It's all a charade. I'm sure she wants something different so at the last minute she'll call it off and strike. I just have to be prepared." Rey reassured staring straight into Hano's eyes.

"Well, the caller was unknown and he warned me about the wedding getting extremely dangerous." She confessed stretching out her phone for Rey to check.

"Well well well, tracking this should be very easy." Rey replied smirking staring at the number.

"You should go to bed, you should plan a grand wedding for Ciara starting tomorrow." He said kissing her forehead.

**Yeah, go to bed.** She thought rolling her eyes.

"Sir, I have something urgent to report." Todd reported urgently rushing into Rey's office.

"What?" Rey asked dropping his pen.

"Miss. Hanora's sister, she's back."

"Well I'll be damned!"
