Ch09 The Mission (01)
He took a step back and studied the board in front of him well. He had some information on the Regals and Arnold but there was still one piece of the puzzle that didn't fit. How did Arnold get the evidence and why haven't the Regals tried to obtain it from him. Normally they would've put on a fight but this time they were awfully quiet meaning they sent someone undercover. But who could it be and who were they supplying the arms and drugs to.
"Are you really working your ass off for that ungrateful bitch?" Ciara asked cleaning her gun with her legs crossed on the table.
"I need space to think Ciara. If you're not helping at least stop calling her names. This is to help us too. We'd be fucked if this deal if theirs go well." Rey replied angrily trying not to loose his temper
"I like when you get mad. It makes you look sexy" She replied smirking and leaving Rey in the study.
"I'm waiting for your instructions boss. I have to train some ball-less boys you recruited" She added at the door post.
Rey kept on thinking about what he could be missing and then he grabbed his jacked and decided to go a Korean Mafia for more information.

"I really don't know" The white man replied in a foreign language.
"Careful there Lee, you owe me one you know and you seriously don't want to get on the boss's bad side" Rey replied him in his foreign language
"That Hano bitch? She'll be begging for mercy soon when Arnold get's the political power." Lee replied scoffing.
"You don't seem scared of her anymore. I'm guessing you have a more powerful backup now. Probably or from China or Korea." Rey replied leading him on with his words.
"Of course. More powerful than those Regals too. Those idiots sent a girl to collect information from him. He will sniff her out and kill her" He answered roaring with laughter while gulping down his alcohol
**so they sent a woman** Rey thought staring at the stupid Korean man gulping down his drink
"You're really new in town. No wonder you accepted a drink from me" Rey said as he started to walk away leaving him behind as he slowly came to the realization that his drink might have been spiked.
"You asshole!" He cursed as he started to choke and he slowly lost breathe and fell to the ground.
"Clean it up" Rey ordered his bodyguard as he entered his car and drove off.

Everything in the office felt off. Although it was said to be hers and she remembered it she still didn't want it back. She liked it better when she was kept in the dark.
"You don't have to force yourself Hano. You can trust me on this okay?" Vi said noticing that Hano was lost in thoughts.
"Hey Vi? Do you think stopping those Regals isn't dangerous?" Hano asked starting to got worried about Rey.
"Dangerous is an understatement I thought you had it all planned out. He'll surely die cause those Regals are known for their viciousness, he'll ack as a smoke bomb while you attack from behind. That way you can finally forgive him for lying to you." Vi replied confused as to why Hano would suddenly start to worry about Rey. Hano looked sad by hearing her reply **well, it is what it is.** She thought taking a deep breath.

"I got their hideout. The exchange is taking place tomorrow but we still need to get their spy." Todd reported to Rey after getting some information.
"When will the ships set out to Japan?" Rey asked
"They are out already. But not delivered. Hiroshi wants to seal the deal with the exchange tomorrow. I found Hiroshis' safehouse too but we need his access code." Todd replied immediately.
"We clone his phone at the Charity event tomorrow evening. The spy's info would be easier from there. Brief Ciara and get ready in Japan. We'll send signal once we're in." Rey said typing a message on his phone.
"I hope this works this time." He said to himself as he hit the send button.
"Yo! What's up?" Ciara barged into the room
"Oh it's good you're here. We got fresh info. We're going to the Charity event to get Hiroshis' phone cloned. The border will be open soon so we need to act fast." Rey said facing Ciara.
"This is dangerous Rey. Hiroshi and Regals are no joke. Must you do this for Hano?" Ciara asked worried about Rey.
"You know I still~" Ciara almost completed as Rey cut in.
"We're over this C. Go get ready. I have an appointment" He said coldly leaving the office.
**I hate this** She thought clenching her fist. The only reason why she joined the Mafia was because she really loved Rey but seeing him risk his life for another woman's request tore her heart.
************************The Charity Event*********************************
"Hello Mr. Hiroshi. Nice to meet you." A bearded tattoo man who appeared to be The Regals boss greeted as soon as he saw Hiroshi.
"You people here are thick skinned. Why host a charity event when you just want their money" Hiroshi replied disgusted by the foreigners pretense. He didn't like two faced people but he had no choice but to do business with Tae, Regals' boss.
"It's called politics Mr. Hiroshi. After we supply you arms and drugs you do know you owe us." Tae replied with a dirty smile.
"Whatever. The air here is suffocating. I need a smoke." Hiroshi replied heading out to the rooftop.
Rey who had been keeping a eye on them stealthily followed Hiroshi to the rooftop.
He watched as the bald Japanese man lit his cigar and when he was about to notify Todd, he felt a gun cock on his stomach.
"Don't move" The Japanese bodyguard said making Rey slowly raise his hand.
"What do you want?" Hiroshi asked smoking. Rey swiftly kicked the guard and grabbed the gun from him. He twisted and held his neck placing the gun on his head to threaten Hiroshi.
"Tae." Rey replied in a cold tone with Hiroshi smirking in pleasure understanding what Rey meant.
