“Okay, I’ll go look at everything, but did the stuff I ordered for the clinic arrive?” Evan asks.
“Yes, and I’d like to go and start treating them with what they have, the antitoxins you had sent over, to see if they work, or if we need to make something new,” Nanook tells him.
“I’ll let you know what I find,” Evan promises.
Nanook smiles and leaves. The police clear them to go inside, and Rene goes ahead, checking the room for anything dangerous, even though the police have cleared the house as safe. Evan appreciates the extra care. Rene takes up position in one corner and leaves Evan to work.
“More breeds of frogs down here. I’ll take samples. Still need to prove his guilt, even though he’s skipped town,” Evan says, putting on a pair of latex gloves.
