Emily's Pov

While we waited my father said. "This was my mothers, your grandmother passed it to your mother who had wanted to pass it herself to you but as she may not be able to I shall on her behalf," Said Anderson I looked at the ribbon in confusion then father said "watch closely" I did as he asked and watched as my father pulled a ribbon from his pocket smoothing and unfolding the ribbon he took each end of the ribbon in his hand and tugged on both stretching the ribbon. A second later the ribbon was also a book and the ribbon a bookmark within a very large old book.

I looked on in amazement, the book was indeed old the bindings had been changed over time the otter book was inlaid with gold, and the inner pages of parchment paper very old almost fragile to the look. I opened the book to its table of content and turning and looking at my father I asked "do you think it may have an invisibility spell and even…" I stopped as the book in my hand started turning and flipping its own pages toil finally it stopped on its own. I looked over the page it read the spell and the spell was titled as such.

As you draw this sigil on the wood you must say repeatedly

"clausos omnes via apeiat" continue after drawing saying this spell as you set the wood ablaze. Place the ashes in a vile one vile for each person(S) needing invisibility.

Once coming upon a closed path to you open vile and carry close to your chest and move forward. All you need to do then is go upon your determined path to your desired destination. No one or thing will stop you. Once you reach your desired destination pour vile into water and drink. this shall close your path so that none can follow through as you did.

I was amazed at this and couldn't help my surprise from the book nor stare at it in awe. Immediately we set to work asking for out needed items from the doctor. Doctor Lebedinsky was very obliging and helpful he stated upon us making our request. "Do not ever hesitate to ask Samsons father Agustus was my long-time friend we grew up together and I know magic when I see it. I saw the truth I know of Samson's innocence and am willing to help in whatever is needed." I thanked him profusely tears in my eyes as did charlotte who gave the doctor a huge hug. My father and the grimoire guided my steps through the rituals of our escape. We quickly made work and our way out of the infirmary walking the halls with ease. It wasn't till we were outside we realized we needed transport and needed an excuse still to make it more easily out the gate though unlocked it was still guarded by sentries. We then caught even more luck as Tyler was loading a van outside.

Making our way to him in stealth we caused him some alarm and he jumped dropping and making such a racket of equipment and shout. He ushered us in the van quickly before the sentry reached the van to check what the racket was for. Nervously Tyler explained as we all hid in the van quietly scared hearts pounding in my ears. "I dropped the box on my toe surprising myself all good no harm was done and all fixed packed back up." We could tell by the silence they thought it suspicious but after a moment allowed him to carry on getting into the truck and leave to his work. He casually as if no care (on the outside it would seem at least) in the world made his way into the van and drove out the gate.

Not that I hadn't trusted the magic as we left the gate and had made it a mile or so did, I breathe though after another half a mile or so an alarm sounded, we all looked panic-stricken at each other. They had discovered us missing we hadn't even been gone for twenty minutes yet, but it was time for the new guard and one of the more thorough ones must have checked on us. Tyler then floored it before pursuit could follow us. upon entering the city, we winded up and down and back again through many random streets backtracking ourselves multiple times to ensure if we were followed, we lost them.

Finally getting to one of the blood banks matter fact the one I met Samson at. There Tyler and the rest gathered blood bangs in abundance as we were going to need as many as we could and me being still weak, I wasn't going to be able to hunt like the others and while on the run we didn't know how to hunt would be. After collecting and feeding on a bag or two each as well before leaving. Tyler took me my father and charlotte to an abandoned building saying "he's here Samson I mean but I need to ditch this van and quickly i will meet you all later. "Nodding to Tyler we all piled out of the van and quickly, so as to not make our presence known to anyone, we entered the building. My heart raced and my skin tingled only Samson could cause this in me only my love. I knew then I was safe again and I was overwhelmed by my emotions

It must have been obvious that I was shaking from all my emotions as my father placed a hand on my shoulder. Trying to comfort and give me the courage to continue. The fear at how I would find him and the excitement of finally being able to see him again was almost too much for my overdriven mind. I had to take a moment breathing in and out deeply and slowly to steady myself.
