The Truth Revealed

This morning when I woke up, I felt like a completely different man. A man with a purpose, a man that has, and for sure is on the brink of getting everything he wants. Whom would have thought that one of those dark deserted alleys that I sought for comfort, would in fact bring me the most desirable thing of all. As I watch her sleeping, I feel only the most incredible warmth for her. If I believed in such things as destiny, I would have known this to be part of it.

She brings a kind of danger and excitement I crave in life. If I truly could have what I wish for, then I would never let her leave. But we only have known each other for the better part of three days now, some might frown upon such an early commitment and label it as far too soon. Then again, how does one explain oneself that you know that this is the person you see yourself spending your life with. And even as I am thinking all of this, I just remembered that she can read my mind.

As I look back to watch her again, I am not surprised that she has awoken, and by the gorgeous smile that plays at the corners of her mouth, I know that she has been listening to every word I was thinking.

"Hey my little creature, how long have you been listening?"

Her porcelain skin flushes red and I do not need an answer. The little creature of mine has heard every word that I was thinking. This is for sure something I need to learn to control, but then again she said she does not always listen. Something does give me the idea that I have not yet seen the full potential of her power. But I do see how I can use this much to my own advantage too.

As I lean closer to her ear, the mere touch of my lips makes her shiver. I move an inch of an inch closer and I softly whisper. "What am I thinking of now?"

Her voice comes out nothing but a mumble for I am sure she has just gotten the images of so many things I want to do to her. Her eyes are searching mine, she can clearly see the yearning I have burning bright within them. Without even considering another thought, she leans in and her lips brush against mine soft and warm. But then she pulls back, and after a few more seconds, she leans in to tease my lips again. As she goes to do it for the fourth time, I grab her wrists and pin them gently above her head.

"That's it", I demand as I claim her mouth again.

I pull her close to my chest and run my hands down her back. She arches her back as I clasp her thighs and draw her closer into my body. I hear her gasp at the fire that is twisting and burning between our melting bodies. She slowly parts her lips and grants me the entry that I desire. Her tongue slips inside my mouth. It is gentle but demanding. It is nothing like I've ever experienced before. Every square inch of my body dissolves into hers. My veins throb and my heart explode. I have never wanted anyone like this.

I feel as my arousal starts to throb against her thighs. Her heart is beating against my sculpted chest, her warm breath is lingering on my skin. There are so many things I desire to do to her. I want to breathe her, lick her, eat her, drink her, taste her. She is truly amazing, I do not think I shall ever get enough of her.

After several minutes lost in the kiss, we slowly part for a much-needed breath, but my thoughts of her do not once subside.

"Mr. Rosario, you have a lot of dirty thoughts."

"Zoe, you should not read a man's mind then."

"It is kind of hard when you have that cheeky smile on your face." She leans in to give me one final peck before she sits up straight. Her fun, bright demeanor has now changed to one dark and gloomy. Something clear has her upset and it is not coming from my head.

"What is the matter?"

She hesitates for a few seconds, then she speaks. "I am going to have to tell Breyden about our encounter."

She does speak a lot of this Breyden but not once have I asked who he is and what part he plays in her life. "Sorry for being rude but who is Breyden?"

"I think you are going to need a shot of whiskey for this."

Not taking much of it seriously, all I do is laugh at her. But when she gives me a stare that could not be even worse than death, I do realize that I might just have to go and find that bottle of whiskey.

She takes a few breaths before she starts, I can clearly see that she is nervous and I might possibly be the first man she has ever told.

"This story is about to go all fifty shades of grey. See the story begins..." She hesitates for a few moments and then carries on again. "Teagen got bitten one night while running down a dark alley."

I immediately stop her right there. "What do you mean by bitten?"

"Vampire. Bite. You know like I do with you."

"Whoa", my words come out a bit louder than they should. "Backtrack for two seconds. Are vampires really for real?"

She chuckles at me while she playfully exposes her fangs. "Yes Mr. Rosario, they are indeed real."

"But", I stop her again. "Does this?"

"That is a yes too. Teagen is a real vampire."

I shake my head in confusion, maybe I did not read my fairytales right. "But then why aren't you a real one?"

She points at the bottle of whiskey that I am still holding firmly in my hand. "I think you should take a sip of that."

I do as she requests, then she carries on. "The vampire that attacked my sister was not alone that night. He had a, shall I say, a companion with him. The vampire came at me after I found him with Teagen, but before he could get to me Breyden killed him."

The expression on my face is somewhat confused, this story still makes no sense at all. "Then how come are you cursed?"

"Well, the woman with the vampire was a witch. When she could not succeed in getting her revenge on Breyden, then she turned her revenge on me and cursed me instead."

"Then can't you just go to the witch and ask her to reverse this curse?"

She merely laughs at me and shows me to have some more whiskey. "Breyden killed her."

"Well, that was quite a dumb thing to do. Why did the curse not work on this Breyden?"

She takes the bottle from me and has a sip from it as well. "See Breyden is an angel."

And when I thought I have heard it all she manages to shock me with the most bizarre of them all. It takes me several minutes and even several sips before it clearly registers every single syllable she has just spoken. "Did you just say, angel?"

"Hahaha", her laughter vibrates to every corner. "Yes, I did indeed say an angel."

Just to make sure I have in fact heard this all and did not dream up one big illusion, I seek her confirmation once again. "Now let me get this right. Your sister Teagen is a vampire. You are some sort of a cursed vampire and you guys live with an angel? I think this whiskey is not strong enough for this information."

She takes the bottle of whiskey from my hands and shifts me closer. "Are you still not scared of me now that you know everything?"

I know that she needs this reassurance, so I shall once more give it to her. "I have said it before my little creature, I like you for this woman you are in front of me. But I do beg just one thing of you though. Please do not ever deceive me."

She clasps my face between her hands and finds the centers of my eyes to stare into them deeply. "I will never deceive you or listen when you don't want me to."

Why do I have such blind faith in a woman that I do not truly know, all I have is this incredible bond that draws me closer and closer. I crave her in ways that are pure sinful. I am not the same Foster Rosario I was only a few days ago, she has woken something that is all so new but yet so addicting. I do however feel that somewhere through all this that I might get burned, but I don't care if I get scorched, all I want is to be with her. There are so many sides to her, she is like the spectrum of a rainbow. She brings color to my life and I shall seek it until my forever is over.

She has once again gone and read my every single thought for nothing but the brightest smile fills her face now. "So Mr. Rosario, you reckon I bring you color?"

"And there I thought you were not going to read my mind when I don't want you to?" I pause for a brief moment and take her face between my hands. "Now I know I have only known you for a few days, but somehow I feel that you should be mine forever."

"How about to stop with now. Now go get your cute ass in that shower, I believe you have got a meeting to get to."
