Chapter 278: Conspiracy

Everything was just as Zhou Wenchuan had described. Moments after they charged into the valley, a rumbling sound emanated from the cave ahead, and the ground beneath everyone's feet began to tremble. It was evident that what would next appear before them was bound to be a massive creature.

Indeed, that was the case. In less than a moment, a huge figure burst forth from the mouth of the cave.

At first glance, the spiritual beast inevitably reminded people of the Triceratops from the Jurassic era. It resembled a rhinoceros with four pillar-like sturdy legs and was crowned with three long, sharp horns atop its head. Coupled with its earthy yellow body that, when seen from afar, resembled a small hillside, it was obviously twice the size of the giant bear they had previously encountered.

Even though everyone was mentally prepared, they were still startled by the sight of the colossal creature in front of them.
