Kissable Lips

Bridget was clenching her fist on the wheel of her Mercedes and pressing on the gas, trying to reach Matthew's house as fast as possible. Luckily, it was midnight and the streets were empty, only very few cars were in there.

Her pulse raced as she struggled to control her quivering palms that were on the wheel, even her knuckles became white due to how tight she was gripping it.

A cold, tight knot formed in her guts as she recognized the risk that Matthew was in right now.

The second Matthew's house started to appear in her gaze range, she did not hesitate to carelessly park her Mercedes and ran with leaden legs, immobilized by terror.

She felt like her heart was about to explode out of her chest, her terror making it impossible for her to breathe.

Her worry caused a chilly perspiration on her forehead. Her guts churned with anxiety when she noticed how Matthew's house's front door was broken.
