From the time the snake charged at them till it lost its life, Austin was active but could not see how it died apart from a white light that flew past before its head fell off, he didn't see anything.

"What the hell just happened"? He asked in confusion.

"I just saved the both of you, so you are welcome" Freya's voice rang as she stood where she had been while they were fighting the snake but her hand was holding a bright crystal.

Watching her with the beast core in her hand, Austin could not help but open his mouth wide in shock. Although he knew she's strong but not to the extent of ending the fight with Jason a single move.

"What's the problem, am I too good that you could not keep yourself off me" said Freya with a proud look on her face as she raised her chest forward.

"What's there to be proud of when the beast already has one foot on the grave?" Jason suddenly replies out of annoyance when seeing Freya showing off.
