UNREQUITED LOVE COMES TRUE

"She made me smile even in my worst moments. That’s why I fell for her." --- “You never liked me?” Jun froze in place. His back remained turned. “You already know the answer, Ani. So why ask?” “I want to hear it from you,” she replied, her voice quivering. “I want to understand why you hate me.” Jun finally turned around, carrying the usual cold gaze. “I never liked you. And I never will. Because you have no direction, no ambition. I can’t stand beside someone who drifts through life aimlessly. That’s what I despise the most. And unfortunately, Ani, you are one of those people.” --- “Did you never love me?” Jun asked quietly, the weight of years pressing on his shoulders. Ani looked at him, startled, as tears welled in her eyes. “Jun…” “You didn’t love me. Not truly,” Jun said, his voice cracking. “If you had, you would’ve come to me first, even if my father forbade you. You would’ve picked up the phone, called me, and said, "'Jun, I need you here.' But you didn’t. Not once.” He paused, his voice trembling. “All these years, I loved the wrong woman. I believed in my love for you, but that love only betrayed me in the end.” Tears rolled down his cheeks, and he wiped them away with a shaky hand. “Don’t ever show me your face again, Ani. If you do, one of us might end up breaking beyond repair. You once said we shouldn’t cross paths again, today, I’m making that real. From now on, there is no Jun in your world. And there is no Ani in mine.”

You are really a Disaster Queen!

Ani was working on the computer when he saw how the secretary was smiling in front of Jun. "Can't she smile less? Jun never smiled this much in front of me. If I smile then he scolds me. It is unfair," thought Ani when Jun's eyes fell on her. Immediately she fixed her gaze at the computer screen.

"Is he still looking at me?" Ani thought and glanced at him when she found he was still looking in that direction. She fixated her gaze on the computer screen and read the mail which was opened on it. "I should send reply," murmured Ani and typed on the keyboard.

"Miss Mei, please train Miss Cha. I am going for the lunch," Jun stated.

"Sir, should I bring lunch for you here? Going out can tire you as your office schedule is pecked till the late evening," opined Weng Mei.
