Time Leap
Her head seemed to be spinning realizing where she is at right now. It was the same house they've been visiting several times now.
She slowly walked upstairs, one of the spaces they have not traveled to whenever they are here.
She saw a room that's slightly opened, she did want to eavesdrop but the voices were getting louder and louder that she could not help but take a peek.
"You know that you could talk to us right?" the woman she assumed was the mother of the family was teary-eyed as she was facing her husband.
"I know. And I told you, everything is okay. It's all going to be fine."
She stepped away from the door the moment she saw the man about to get out of the room. She hid towards a corner of the hallway as she watched him walk away.
So things weren't really going well for the entire household.
All of a sudden, she saw how the lights of the entire house turned down. It was as though the entire timeline has been fast-forwarded towards the nighttime.
