Unparalleled: Two Sides of The Same Coin

Despite it being a prideful boast at the time, Gojo knew that it was true. No one, save for Sukuna, was his match. And with that thought in his mind, he tried one final technique to prevent himself from being sealed. His vision turned black.

Twelve-year-old Midoriya Izuku was no one special. Born quirkless in a world full of superpowers, he was ostracised by his peers, discriminated against by those who knew his status and was bullied by his former childhood friend. The only person he lived for and genuinely cared for him was his mother.

Today was like any other day. Walking home after another depressing day at school, Izuku felt a tugging sensation at the back of his head. What the, he thought, before his vision turned to black.

Feeling the cold gravel of the road he had just suddenly collapsed on, Izuku (or was it Gojo) opened his eyes. Was it just him, or could he see more? Every piece of gravel seemed to read like a book. Every blade of grass danced intrinsically. He could even see dust now. With a sigh, he imbued his arm with cursed energy and ripped off the sleeve of his uniform to create a makeshift blindfold.

Wait, he thought, how the fuck did I know what to do?

Well, of course I knew what to do, he countered condescendingly, I am Gojo Satoru.

Izuku's eyes widened in horror and then squinted in pain as a sparse array of jumbled memories ran through his brain.

And just as suddenly as it started, it stopped.

Izuku looked at his hands, deep in thought. What the fuck was that, he thought. And why could he still see everything, even with the blindfold on?

The memories that had just assaulted him refused to answer.

Izuku stumbled home, with one more question deeply etched in his mind. Who is Gojo Satoru, and why did the name seem so intimate?
