Officer Jimmy said as he held a handset closer to his ear while sitting in his office.

I'm good my dear. How's the investigation going about the Late Louis case?

No new response yet. You know we're still gathering facts underground

The man at the other end said

... that's my duty if I'm not making a mistake... Jimmy replied from his end

It's okay... Zick replied from his end.

Zick, I want us to have one on one discussion. Still concerning this late Louis' case. Senator Yakubu is a very wicked man. Jimmy said

Okay, when and where do you want us to meet? Zick asked from his end

I would like us to meet in any local bar. Those that are hidden... Jimmy's words sounded fishy to Zick.

Well, I have a hotel where I think we'll confidently do whatever we want to do without being monitored. No one would even think we're there .. Zick told Jimmy

In that case, send me an address so that I'll meet you there.

They agreed and Zick sent him the address.

Jimmy left his office at his closing hour and then drove down to Christine Royale where Sandra and Jessy lodged the day Louis died. Packed his car there and then used a can to the location where Zick said they should meet.

Both of them went into a room in the hotel. Got refreshed.

Zick, thanks for the work so far. How do we intend to tackle this case? Remember I'm in the same office as Sam and he's Yakubu's chief accomplice. I guess we need more evidence to track him down than to know the number of loopholes we have... Jimmy said with such seriousness written all over his body.

That's a nice idea. But how can we achieve that? .... Zick questioned Jimmy while looking so curious

I guess I have to work for his transfer or how to link him to another case concerning the Senator so he'll be suspended and u see the watchlist. When he starts having court cases almost twice or thrice a week, he won't have time to follow up with that the Senator.

Don't even think of filing for his transfer. We need to be closer to him so that we can track him all as we want. We can only link him to any crime the Senator committed and then get him suspended as we continue dragging him from day to day in court. But there's certainly a problem. Because he has the Senator by his side, he always proves stubborn. Even if we invite him to the court for any case Sen Yakubu won't allow the case to last more than a week as he's the senator's errand boy.

Justice Zick, what must we do now?

I guess we need to let him stay and we will be fast in whatever we are doing.

As they were still discussing, a message popped up on Jimmy's handset. He unlocked the phone and thus the message reads... Honey, our CCTV camera, the one you hid beside the gate just revealed three masked men in a Rangerover beside the estate gate. You know Mr. Ken is having his son's naming ceremony today, we have many security personnel in the estate, his colleagues that came for the occasion. They may leave the estate at any time. Please send us some men to stand by and don't bother to come back.

As he exclaimed, Zick asked him the problem then he showed him the message.

He called the wife but the wife assured him that she only need other officers and not her husband as he may be the one those masked men may be looking for. While they were still discussing on phone, another message entered his phone. He ended the call to arrange men that will secure him home.

He opened the message just to see that it was from the receptionist at Christine Royale.

.... Sir some men came here looking for you just like a few minutes ago. I'm convinced that they didn't come for a good mission. please be safe.

As he read the message from the receptionist, he still showed the message to Zick. Then Jimmy arranged for some of his friends who were officers as well to go and secure his house. He even called the case and told him the situation on the ground.

Ken signaled some of his colleagues about what Jimmy told him. Five men without their soldier uniforms strategically went outside the gate to fight those men. When they met the men, they had unmasked themselves. The men's soldiers showed them their ID cards and requested that they search the car. The masked men also showed them their ID cards showing that they were policemen. The Soldiers questioned them why they were there but they simply said that they were on duty. Ken's friends had nothing to do but report back to Ken what happened outside the gate.
