Chapter twenty seven

the next day

Samuel was in the parlor, before Amanda entered.

" Aman baby, your brother is driving me o" her mother complained.

" I told her to go out with daddy, because today is their anniversary " Samuel said as he stood up and went to Amanda. Amanda smiled as she already understood what Samuel was doing.

" mummy, Samuel is right. go out... wait o, did daddy asked her out? " Amanda asked confused.

" yes" Mr Maxwell came out from the dining.

" you guys have celebrated you anniversary before, so just do it today " Amanda said as she went to rest her head on her mom's shoulder.

" mummy, daddy happy anniversary " Kelvin came out.

" nawa o God" Mrs Maxwell yelled looking up at the roof, but was supposed to look at the sky if the roof was not there.

" are you guys gonna celebrate today? " Kelvin asked

" that was what I was telling mummy" Samuel said as he put his hand around Kevin's shoulder.

" go nah" Amanda said as she was already getting tired.

" mummy daddy,I have a surprise for the both of you" Anthony said as he ran out to them, holding a some money.

" this money is from the four of us" Anthony gave the money to their mom.She started counting the money...

" ten thousand" she yelled surprised.

" Samuel and I dropped three thousand as the seniors,then Aman and Kelvin dropped two thousand as the juniors" Anthony explained.

" they've paid me this month salary,but I still used from last month,it has not finish.

" okay, we will go out so we won't disappoint you guys" their mother smiled.

" go to shop rite" Amanda yelled as their mother and father was going outside.

" okay" their mom yelled as Mr Maxwell started the car.

" bye" they all waved at them,then the car drove off.

" why did you tell them to go to shop rite" Anthony asked.

" that's because I want them to bring something for us,like cake, shawarma,and other stuff. But ice cream..."Amanda got interrupted.

" Is important" Anthony helped her in completing her words.

Ella( Samuel's girlfriend) came one hour after Mr and Mrs Maxwell had left the house. Samuel drove the other three to the room,so he would be with his girl alone.

Later,Kelvin took Amanda out of the room to secretly watch Samuel and Ella kiss. And they did.

After they sat on the ground by the kitchen for almost an hour,they left there,and went back to their room.

Later, Ella went to that room to wave them goodbye. They waved back at her,then went to the parlor. When Samuel had put her inside Keke( tricycle), he went back to the house.

" Amanda you understand" Samuel asked as he closed the door.

" eh?" Amanda became confused.

" did you understand the kiss?" Samuel asked smiling.

" how did you know" Amanda asked surprised.

" I saw you guys,and last night Kelvin said he would do so" Samuel explained.

" Amanda is a fast learner" Anthony smiled.

" how" Samuel asked.

" we told her to try it with her pillow, so she did it.She did it well. The way she do am sef eh, kiss con dey sweet me. I dey go meet Miracle ( Anthony's girlfriend) " Anthony said then left the house. Samuel smiled, then turned to Amanda.

" do it again" Samuel said giving her a weird smile.

" uh?" Amanda was once again confused.

" kiss the pillow again" Samuel said.

" no" she said then ran outside.

" she's shy" Kelvin said then picked his phone. Samuel find the weird, because Kelvin is always with his phone,and he's always having different expression on his face. Either smiling or his grumpy.

" who are you chatting with?"

" nobody" Kelvin said then went to his room.

At Praises house

Amanda arrived at Praises house,she entered and saw Praise arguing with Tare.

" Praise" she called.

" Amanda,no bi small thing this boy they do o ( Amanda, if you know what this boy has been doing to me eh) " Praise complained.

" Amanda, I just..." Tare got interrupted...

" you just what? you just threw my phone in side the toilet. Toilet for goodness sake" Praise cried out. Amanda opened her mouth wide...

" that phone was thirty five thousand, and now wey things don dey expensive, the phone go don reach forty thousand naira. My brother,go and work" Amanda said then stretched her hand to the door.

" I go buy am for you ( I will buy it for you)" Tare said then walked away.

" G boy" Amanda yelled bringing out both her thumbs. Tare turned and winked at her.

" that boy they go,I don forget say I suppose fight am( that boy is going, I already forgot that I was supposed to fight him) " Praise said then followed Tare.

" wait" Amanda yelled then followed her.
