Chapter forty five

" Amanda, how will I get close to David? " Praise asked. The three girls are inside their room. Kelly laying on. her bed, while Amanda and Praise are on the couch.

" I have a plan. Just sit down and listen to my conversation " Amanda said then picked her phone.

" hello, David " Amanda said, then winked at Praise.

" David? " Praise whispered surprised.

" Amanda how are you? " David asked.

" I'm fine " Amanda replied.

" so wass up? " he asked.

" well, my friend Praise would like to learn how to dance " Amanda said.

" you and Fabian are good dancers, why don't you guys teach her? " David asked.

" well... I... Fabian and I are traveling, so we can't teach her " Amanda stammered.

" okay, tell her to see me after class tomorrow "

" okay, I will " Amanda replied, then cut the call.

" he said you should meet him after class tomorrow " Amanda smiled.

" really? " Praise jumped up happily. All of a sudden, she stopped to think...

" are you sure he doesn't have a girlfriend? " Praise asked worried.

" I'm sure. He's born with beauty and a good brain " Amanda replied.

The next day, Praise went to the theatre after class.

" Praise " David called.

" oh my God, his voice is so beautiful. I'm so nervous " Praise whispered to herself. As she reached David's side, he stared at her from head to toe...

" okay, let's start " he said. Praise just nod her head. They stood on the stage...

" what type of dance do you want to learn?, hip hop?, ballet? or you want to learn all this Nigerian dance moves? " he asked.

" well... I'm not that flexible, to I can't learn ballet, and I love to learn our Nigerian dance, mostly the leg walk. I seen Amanda do it alot, but I still couldn't learn it" Praise replied.

" okay, then let's dance " David said, then he showed her the moves. They danced for hours, and Praise is already getting the moves.

Hours later, Praise came back tired, so she lay on her bed.

" how was it? " Amanda asked.

" Amanda, dance hard o" Praise said as she was breathing hard. Amanda laughed...

" how? " Amanda said still laughing.

" my legs dey pain me " Praise complained. Amanda and Kelly laughed hard.

" una be witch ( you guys are witches) " Praise said to Amanda and Kelly. And they both kept on laughing. Just the. Amanda picked her phone, then played music ( cash out by Bella Shmurda, Zlatan and Lincoln), then she started laughing. Later, they ate and few hours later, they slept.

The next day

The girls were off to class. Kelly stopped following Amanda and Praise after seeing Justin and the other guys...

" I don't like the way Kelly always leaves us to Justin. I mean, it's not bad that she's going to meet her boyfriend, it's just that she hardly spends time with us" Praise complained, as they were both staring at Kelly and they boys. Fabian was also staring at Amanda, he even wanted to walk to her, but one of the lectures called him.

" she wants to be with her boyfriend " Amanda replied.

" you also have a boyfriend. But you don't always leave me to go to him. Infant, even if you're with Fabian, and I call you to help me select a dress, you will either come to me, or tell me over the phone " Praise complained, as she dragged Amanda's hand along with hers.

" so you think Kelly won't do the same? " Amanda asked still smiling.

" yes" Praise replied. They both then entered the school, but after a while, Amanda became quiet. She turned to Praise who was still upset...

" Fabian's birthday is on the 14'th of this month. What I have a gift in mind, but I don't know if I should do it " Amanda said to Praise.

" that day na Valentine's Day " Praise yelled happily.

" yes " Amanda replied.

" I can't wait for David to ask me out, I should go and do it now, so I will have someone to give me a val gift " Praise quickly said. As she was about to live, Amanda grabbed her hand.

" I plan on giving Fabian that special thing " Amanda said. Praise was so surprised, that her mouth became wide open.
