People support Hisashi's

This trial was a mere formality. He knew that, but it didn't make it any easier.

He was first to go. Telling the stories of both Midoriya Izuku and Shimura Tenko as best as he could without making any mention of Kurogiri.

He admitted to the murder of his father and step-mother and to having willingly followed a villain to shelter and food. He admitted to having killed a handful more and worn their hands along with his parents' under the guidance of his "mentor".

A list of his crimes for his mother to pay for.

Then it was his old classmates' turn.

He was stalking us all the time to see our Quirks.

He let himself get beat up anytime any of us got their lunch stolen just to get it back. He wouldn't even flinch.

When we were seven he stabbed a pair of scissors through his hand just to see if the inside would rewind as well. He didn't even look like he realized the problem.

The whole group of his ex-classmates shuddered at that, Hisashi included. It had hurt so bad and he didn't even know how he could have done something so painful. What, just for the sake of being a better hero? That was how bad it had become. How bad he had become.

The testimonies kept going. A group of classmates from primary school to last year had come with something more to had, another fissure to show in Hisashi's walls.

Bakugou was harsh. Always. Had his parents not destroyed him, they might have become friends despite that harshness.

"Izuku was a complete nut case."

The defendant lawyer jumped on the occasion.

"So you believe he is crazy. Would you say he is dangerous?"

Inko almost looked ready to come in his defense herself, but to both the lawyer and Hisashi's surprise, the blond scoffed.

"Dangerous? Him? Even before USJ, all he did was help everyone, as inconvenient as it was. Ask Fro- Asui there herself. As soon as the ex-nut bag was himself he called off the attack."

Hisashi felt like crying. Everyone here had come to help him despite him making their lives difficult. They all accepted to be witnesses for him, even Bakugou and Tsuyu despite them having seen the worst of him.

And when it was all done, Izuku couldn't look his mother in the eye while she was being taken away.

The verdict? Well, Midoriya-Shimura Hisashi would now be under the care and surveillance of a hero and would not be allowed to obtain a heroic license, both until given the pass by a psychiatrist.

The whole group of teenagers were sitting on the courthouse's outside steps in awkward silence, Hisashi feeling wholly unsatisfied with the outcome of the story even though it had ended in his favor, as Nezu had predicted.

That silence was broken when a heavy wallet hit his face hard, likely to leave a bruise.

"OW What the fuck?!" he turned towards the smiling rodent, rubbing his cheek.

"Go get yourself and your friends some ice-cream."

"Wha-You mean ALL of us?!" One of his ex-classmates asked, bewildered.

"Did I stutter? Bring me back vanilla. And the wallet."

The group looked at each other. Then the wallet was ripped out of Hisashi's hand.

"LAST EXTRA THERE DOESN'T GET SHIT!"

The greenette gasped in offense and ran after the blond, quickly followed by Tsuyu and the troup of Orudera ex-pupils.

"GET BACK HERE YOU PIECE OF SHIT NPC!"

Maybe they still had a shot at friendship after-all.
