Chapter Hundred and forty seven

"No matter what you do or say, Sunny would always be my daughter, you can never take that away no matter what you do or say to my daughter"

"I don't where you got that pride if yours from but I just want to let you know, you should stay away from my daughter, I don't want her getting hurt and angry because of you, she don't want you and you should know that". 

"You thought this is a game, where you use my daughter as your pun to get to me, you're the worst man on earth and no matter what you do, I'm going to get my daughter back,you can bet on that Sam"

"Your daughter hates you and despise everything about you, so don't try to force yourself in her because she's with the one she called and recognized as her mum, you have lost all your right on her, You should mark that Rebecca!

He turn and she watched him leave. "Sunny would be tough to convince but I trust you" I turned towards John.

 "she's my daughter and I'll never give up on her, I have come back for my daughter and I'm not leaving willing without her". 

"What do you think he told Sunny that made her hate you so much?  "That I'm a bad mother who had deserted her since she was born and that was because I don't care about her, I think this is it"

"And I think now you have to make it better and show Sunny you're not what or the woman Sam has described for her". "That's not so easy John" I sat down and stared at me.

"If I was given a chance, I could have tried but she always push me away from her". "Then look for a way to come in, I know you, you'll always find a way and I trust you that you'll make your daughter love and see reasons with you"

I brushed away my hair fron my face. "No matter what, Im not giving up in my daughter". John smiled at me and I returned that smile.

"You look like the world just collapse over you" Jade looked at me with a face which tells she was worried about me. "I'm fine" I tried to force my face to brighten.

"That's not helping you know it" Gina walked over to throw her arm around my neck.

 "Okay, I'm not fine, that woman Rebecca, she showed up again at my house after giving her a stern warning not to show her face again, around me". 

"You know she's a mother and what you should know about that is this.....that mother's never give up, they're sacrifice everything just to be with the ones they love". Jade told me

"But you had it wrong, she isn't a mother or my mum, she doesn't have any quality of being one, I hate her so much". "Maybe you should give her a chance to prove if she has the quality or if she was faking it all this while"

"I'm not giving her any fucking chance to come into my life and messed it up again, I hate her and she have to know that, I don't want her close to me". 

"Did, you really hate her this much? Gina asked turning to look at me in the eyes   "I hate her more than anything". 

"Show do you hate that much? I turned to see Josh staring at us three "Josh, I called with a smile on my face. "I wasn't expecting you"

"But we were! I turned to Gina and Jade who were already laughing. "Really?  "We made him come" Gina winked at me. "Just took surprise you" Jade chipped in and Sunny laughed

"That's my crazy friends. "Girls, I want you all to meet my dad" I looked up to stared at the man behind him, I hadn't noticed him at the first place but......that face....that's why Josh had looked so familiar.

The picture with Rebecca, get was the one in that picture with me.  "Sir, I muttered and just like I was shocked and lost, he looked at me with some kind of pain and happiness.

"Sunny, he whispered, afraid that he might be wrong but this girl, she looks exactly ......  "You know who I am". With tears in his eyes, Andrew couldn't control his emotions and rush towards her, embracing her in his arm and after all those years.

After those painful time that he had tried to forget or to feel that empty void in him and now just embracing her filled you that empty void.

"How did you know....me". "You look just like your mother, just like her" be kissed her hair and tears dropped from his eyes. 

"I've missed you so much Sunny, I thought I would never get the Opportunity to see you again, everyday ....I found myself thinking about you...that smiles and all your drawing around the house, I had missed you so much"

"Dad, how did you get to know her....is it...that picture in the house" Josh watched her father and just the look in his eyes confirm that he wasn't lying, he was saying the truth.

Andrew withdrew and looked at that face again, it reminded him about so much. 

"You're so beautiful like her" he looked up and sighted on his shock her friends was but he didn't know how best to explain his behavior.

"How are you girls". "We're fine" they both chorus and he nodded. "I'm doing sorry to interrupt you guys....he looked down at Sunny, why don't you...all have a great time and later you can come over, maybe for lunch or something.....

He looked at Josh and he nodded to his dad. "Goodbye, he waved at them before making his way out maybe....he could get the chance for meet Becca again, he wasn't asking for too much, just seeing her would be enough for him.

He had married and given birth to move on but after everything, he still couldn't bring himself to do just that.

He felt himself being pulled back towards the past each times because he still love Rebecca just as always that was the one thing that would never die or change, his love for her.

He sometimes asked himself why? Why he can't seem to forget her, why he can't move on? But he never find answers but instead kept in loving her all those empty years....

"Wow! Gina exclaimed after few minutes they settled at an eatery. "That's unexpected". Jade turned to me then Josh. 

"I never expected that" "Did you know about this? Gina asked Josh who I think was still getting his head wrapped around this.

'All I knew was that my father has always kept the picture if the woman that looks just like you"

"That might be mum and I won't say that I forgot, it had been a long time, my memories of your father seems so farfetched, I can't seems to put all on place or remember clearly....it just when I was six"

"I think your mum and Dad were lovers" Gina said. "Yeah, I think that too" Sunny said. "Let me see your mum picture" Josh looked at me and I slide out my phone from my pocket. 

"Here, I handed him my cell phone to see her picture. "But this isn't the woman..... The woman there resembled you but..... I don't understand" .

I swallowed knowing that I have to tell him the truth that Tara wasn't my real mother but I couldn't bring myself to say the world.

"Does that mean that I'm older that you" I asked instead. "I don't think age mattered in our friendship" he stared at me and I looked away. It doesn't matter but I couldn't stop myself from asking. 

"I was just curious". "Yeah this is a lot to take in" Jade said drumming her finger on the table "If my dad recognized you and you look like that woman, who is she then if she wasn't your mother" 

"Josh, I don't want to have this conversation now please!  I signed fighting the anger that has raged within me, I just wanted to forget everything about her but something always pops up just to remind me of her again.

And she don't want that, she just want her to be in the party now. She has a mother whom she love and cares about and not her.

She fought the will to stand up and make her say home, all through the time she spend with her friends she kept forcing herself to cooperate and be happy which was more than difficult to do.

"How was your day? Tara asked the moment she walked inside the house, she wanted to tell her who she saw but afraid that it would add more to her worries. 

"It was fun" she lied and turned to make her say up the stairs. "Did anything happen? She turned to her in surprise. Did she know? No, she don't think so.

"Nothing of that important mum" Sunny reached out and kissed her on the cheeks, she doesn't want her to get worried. 

She was doing this for her, she doesn't want her to feel unhappy or to talk to her the way she did the other day.

"Okay sweetie, go and freshen up". "Thank mum! She said running up the stairs, avoiding any more questions.

Sunny made sure that her door was locked before going to slide out the box she had locked away, Josh has been confused about this but she couldn't bring herself to explain, to talk about Rebecca.

All she wanted to do was to forget about it but she wouldn't lie that it was too difficult to forget that she was here in the city, Andrew was here mum's lover then how did they end up separated.

Did her mother also abandon him just the way she did to her, she a bad on him because of her quest for money that's who Rebecca is....

That woman who don't know anything about bond or love the only thing she could and would only think about it money.

She pulled open the box and search through it and tried his best to ignored the other pictures or gift that was lay there, her hand itches to pick them up.

But she was only focused to find the pictures. "Found it" she picked it up and stared at the picture, where.... Andrew....yeah, hie could age forget that name.

He has his arm over here mothers neck and she was there between them and all of them were smiling happily, she was even missing some tooth then.

Tears dropped from her eyes as she watched the picture, it reminded her of a happy family but what happened?

What changed that? Rebecca of course, she was the only one who would spoil and destroy the happy life. "I will never forgive you no matter how hard you try". 

She wiped away the tears but she couldn't stop herself from watching the pictures, the smile looks so beautiful. 

"What kind of a woman are you? I know everything that has happened easily your favorite because of your stupid quest for monehe stood up and walked toward her table and grabbed a scissor, she doesn't deserves to be here. She hated her and she don't need her in her life or anywhere.

It had been long...so long but she knew that Andrew has bought so much happiness then, she took the scissors and held up the picture and cut off Rebecca side of it.

"Burn in hell!  A mother who doesn't know the value of happiness and love, a woman who puts money first then her baby as optional.

Damn her! Damn her!! Damn you Rebecca!!! I hate you first being my real mother, I hate you because you think you're part of my life which you're not! and I will never allow or give you that right as my mother.
