The Crazy Guy

Jane's footsteps seemed muted as she crept into her room, afraid that Daniel would wake up and all plans to escape would be in vain.

Jane had carefully retrieved her jacket, bag, cell phone, and purse. Now and then, he glanced at Daniel was still fast asleep. Jane often held her breath and was afraid that Daniel would wake up soon.

Jane was already in front of the bedroom door. She was holding the doorknob of her room with her heart beating wildly. She began to feel cold sweat. Suddenly hot air enveloped her entire skin. 

Jane's breath became shallow, and she was even more afraid of what will she do?

Should Jane turn the doorknob quickly, or should she turn the doorknob slowly?

"Come on, Jane! You have to calm down," Said Jane getting ready to open her bedroom door.

The sound of a "click" that sounded scary made Jane's spine tingle even more. And the light from the room outside entered the room.
